"LAELAAAHHH!" I screamed as I slammed the door shut.

"WHAT, LOSER?" She yelled back, hopping down the stairs.

"Guess who is a part of an all men's gym!" I said in a sing-song voice.

She folder her arms over her chest, "Prince William?"

I snorted, "As if, he's probably got his own gym and thirty personal trainers."

She shrugged.

"Well anyway, guess!"

She sighed.

"You did..." She mumbled.

"YEAH BUDDY!"

I began making my way to the stairs and took two steps at a time. Once at the top, I went into my room, grabbed a clean outfit and turned the shower on. I put the clothes on the counter and ran back to the door that connected my room to the hallway.

"Laelah?"

"Yeah?"

"Are we going to have to see anyone or go anywhere for the rest of today?"

"Kaitlyn, I don't know... It's only like 3:30."

"Kay, thanks," I shut my door and returned to the bathroom.

I put my phone near the shower door and pressed on my Pandora app. I shed myself of the sweat-covered gym clothes and stepped into the running water.

I think I deserve an award- I finally figured out how to get the temperature just right.

Genius.

I twisted my hair into a towel and stepped out of the bathroom in my 'lounging clothes' as I called them. A pair of grey sweatpants that were rolled up to just below my knees, a large shirt that hung loosely over my torso and off of my shoulders, and a pair of black socks with assorted neon polka-dots.

"Kaitlyn?" Laelah knocked on my door.

"Come in!"

She came and sat on the bottom of my temporary bed.

"So..." She began.

I turned the television off to give her my full attention.

"Do you want to talk about something?" I asked slightly awkwardly.

"Well..."

"C'mon, Laelah. Spit it out!"

"Alright so I know that there either may or may not be something going on that I may or may not need to know about but I just want to say that you've been spending a lot of time with Niall recently. And I'm not saying you're going into this whole relationship or something like that, but I just thought that maybe you'd want to talk about it?" She put the last sentence in a sort of question.

"Laelah, you know I hate all these deep conversations..."

"Yeah but..." She sighed, "Look, I'm bored and I want to know if you've got a summer crush. Like, a guy from another country, and an impossible relationship... Plus, I can so see you and Niall being in a relationship."

I laughed. I'm not really sure if that's bad because she basically just shipped me with someone I've known for a week and a half or so, but I don't really care.

"Why are you laughing?"

"I can't just fall for someone in this amount of time. Relationships are serious to some people, not just a 'fling'," I made air quotes, "Plus, I doubt we'd be anything more than friends."
