Chapter 7

3rd Person POV
Glenn and Maggie were sitting in silence until Maggie looked up at him and said,"Its all my fault. Now they know where everyone is. What if I get Carl and the baby killed?"

"No" Glenn said. "Its not your fault Maggie. We did what we could now they have to help out. They will come and get us soon okay? When we get home you'll see; Carl and Peanut will be okay I promise."

She looked down and coldly said,"Don't make promises you cant keep."

He firmly grabbed her by the shoulders and said,"I know I never make promises that I can't keep. So let me say this; everyone will be okay."

Maggie POV
I knew that he knew that I could have killed everyone back at the prison so I have to make it right. I sit up and look a Glenn and say,"He just wants me Glenn. I could make a deal with him to let you go but promise me that you will take care of the kids?"

"There is no way in hell that I am leaving you with him. Look what hes already done to you." He paused and lowered his head," Maggie. He could kill you."

"I know that but I would rather it be me than you or anyone at the prison. If I don't do this we may never make it back and with the way Rick is right now, I can't leave Carl ad the baby on their own. They need someone to show them the way. They need you Glenn." I try to explain to him but he can be so stubborn sometimes.

"No. What they need is you. To them you are pretty much their mom and you will be the only mom that Peanut will ever know." I felt a pang in my head when I heard the words 'you' and 'mom' in the same secentance.

I coldly state,"I will never be a mom and you know it Glenn."

He grabs my face and what he says to me will always help my through tough times like this,"Don't kidd yourself Maggie. What about your four kids? Logan and your three babies will always be with you no matter where you are and the time. Now you have Carl and the baby to take care of okay? You will ALWAYS be a mother. Do you see women that lost their babies say that they aren't mothers?" He paused and raised his eye brows and I just shook my head no.

He continued,"Think about when you and I will be able to see them again. Man I will tell then sooooo many embarrassing things about you." He stops and we both laugh. "So Momma Bear, we will get out of here together okay?"

I nodded my head and said,"Thank you Glenn for everything and I couldn't have asked for a more loving and caring man to actually love me and for me to love him back. When you love someone hurt is kinda part of the package and I don't want to ever hurt you or to see you hurt. I know that right now with you looking at me it is hurting and let me tell you something that I'm sure of; none of this happened because of you. I love you Glenn." I stopped and kissed him.

"I love you to Maggie." He told me and looked me in the eye.

"I'm sorry." I whisper and stand up. I walk over to the large steel door and pound on it.

"What are you doing Maggie?!" He asked me while walking over to me with a questioning look on his face.

"Whats right" I answered without looking at him. I pound on the door and yell,"Colin!"

Glenn grabs onto my arm and yanks me back and yells,"What the hell are you doing?"

I hear some people talking and then footsteps approach the door making my skin crawl. I close my eyes and I hear a door creak open. I feel Glenn grab me and put me behind him. I open my eyes and see him.

"Let's make a deal." I tell him and try to seem stronger than I am.

"Depends on what it is." He states and I see him bite his bottom lip and look me up and down. Glenn steps closer to him and just stares at him. He looks at me and then him and starts laughing. "Glenn you must be her husband." He claps his hands together and shakes his head.

"Yes he is and my deal is that you let him go hassle free right now and I will stay here." I say to him and Glenn looks back at me.

Colin starts to nod and says,"Deal. You two have two minutes." He walked over to the door and stopped. He turned around and smirked,"Maggie. I will show you what a real man can do."

I cringe at the thought but I will do anything to keep my family safe and I hug Glenn. "I love you and I promise that I will come back for you." He cried into my shoulder.

I shake my head and say,"Don't worry about me. Just make sure that the baby and Carl are okay and you take care of them no matter what?"

He just cries even harder and says,"I love you with all of me heart Maggie." He says to me just before we are pulled apart and he is taken away.

I see Colin point to the door that leads outside and comes into the room with me. He closes the door behind him and sits at the table. He just smiles at me and then tosses me a box with a pregnancy test in it. "You're going to need this after I'm done with you." At hearing this I start to shake and the memories flood me of when I had been raped by him not too long ago.

AN/ So what do think is going to happen? Will Glenn make it in time or will he be too late to save Maggie?🤕😢💔
