My Family

Chapter 19

Glenns POV Two days later
Rick, Logan and I were going on a run and I figured I might as well start getting stuff for the baby. I don't know exactally how far along she is but all that I know is that she has been starting to show if you looked close enough.

I am so excited now I can't wait for her to wake up. I just want to make sure that my family is okay. Before I left I decided to see Maggie and the baby. When I walked in I saw that she wasn't awake. I frowned for a moment but shrugged it off.

I bent down and pulled her shirt up and kissed her stomach. "Hey baby you take care of your momma while daddy goes on a run. You will never know how much I love you and your big brother Logan. I have to thank your mom for giving you to me because without her I would be by myself and not with a family. I love you." I kissed her stomach again and pulled her shirt down. I went over to her,"I love you Maggie." And kissed her.

Two hours later
Well the run went smoothly and now we are making our way back to the prison. Logan fell asleep on my lap so when we parked I just picked him up and took him to his cell. "I love you son." And I kissed the top of his head.

I made my way back outside to unload some new clothes and blankets. I hand a my hands full and when I saw her I nearly had a heart attack. I ran up to her and yelled,"Maggie!"

By the time I got to her we were both in tears. "Are you two okay?"

"Yeah we're okay." She said and placed my hands on her stomach. I kissed her over and over again. When we pulled apart Carl came running over and she picked him up and spun him around. He whispered something into her ear and she nodded and said,"I'm here now don't be scared Carl."

When she set him down he was a crying mess. She looked at me and said,"Lets go and see our son." I smiled.

After she said hi to everyone we made our way to his cell. I told her to stay back while I woke him up. I lightly shook his shoulders,"Son get up real quick okay."

He stirred and I shook him again until he got up. I watched as he whipped the sleep from his eyes,"Yeah dad?"

"Come on let's go and visit mom." And I watched as his eyes got big and he started to cry.

"Is she dead?" He cried. I shook my head.

"No she's fine I just thought that you should come and see her." He got up and I follow behind him. When we reached the cell he looked so panicked,"Where's she?"

I turned his so that he was looking down the hall. I watched as she smiled and Logan cried,"MOMMA!"

As soon as he reached her they both burst out crying. I ran up and she brought me into the hug as well. My family is together again. After we just went back to our cell and snuggled into bed. Maggie laid by the wall with me at the edge and Logan just looked at us and laughed. "What?" I asked trying to look innocent.

Maggie was now laughing to. "Dad you um- you have some blood in your hair and it is sticking up all over the place." At that he went and grabbed a mirror and handed it to me. Sure enough my hair was everywhere.

I just nodded,"You know what I kinda like this look. It suits me." I was trying to be serious and Maggie looked at me and scrunched up her nose and shook her head.

"What do you think Logie?" I asked and tried not to laugh.

"I don't know dad." He stood there and looked serious for a second before we all bursts out laughing. I picked him up and slung him over my shoulder. I put him upside down and lowered him onto the bed.

Maggie was laughing so hard that her back was hurting and I got kinda worried so I said,"Maggie take it easy it can't be good for the b-" I stopped by the look she gave me.

An awkward silence filed the room and I snuggled onto the bed. Logan laid closer to Maggie and I said,"What am I chopped liver?" I pretended a hurt face and Maggie slapped me playfully.

"No don't be silly daddy. Its just that mom is the one that wakes me up in the mornings and I don't want a bucket of water poured on me." I laughed and Maggie just stated to nod her head.

I watched as Logan adjusted himself so that his head was on Maggie's lap and his feet were sprawled across my lap. As soon as he put his head down he shot back up and look at Maggie's stomach and back up at us both.

"Yeah um- I'm kinda hungry Logie can you go and get me an apple?" He nodded and took off down the hall.

"Maggie we have to tell him soon. How far along are you anyway?"

"Carol checked me out and said that I am most likely around three almost four months now." I watched as she smiled. I gave her a kiss and listened before leaning down and kissing her belly. I whispered "My baby" and felt her contagious laugh ripple through my body.

She pulled my head up and said,"Okay, okay well that's enough excitement for her for the day." She paused and placed her hands on her belly and said,"Good night baby girl mommy, daddy and Logan love you."
