She simply stared after him, her brows knit together in confusion, her eyes wide as she took all of this in.
"Why...?" It came out just above a whisper, barely there. But Kylo heard it. He slowly turned around, his brown eyes catching hers in an instant. She fought the urge to look away, delving deeper into the emotion he held there. He was so hard to understand, but she desperately wanted to know these things. She wanted to learn more about him, explore his mind and dive into the wave of emotion he held inside. She wasn't quite sure why, but the curiosity was digging at her.
"You don't understand. You know nothing." He spoke sternly, keeping his stance. Avatra pulled her gaze away, her mind wandering a thousands beats per second. It was quiet, the harsh tone of his voice seemed to echo through her ears, before she broke the silence with a soft whisper.
"I wish to."
She could hear his sharp inhale as she said this, she could feel the waves of emotion wash over her, drowning her in everything that he was feeling. Slowly, she brought her chin up, meeting Kylo's gaze with her own. She was determined, and willful. Kylo was slowly being broken down, his walls crumbling. His eyes quickly scanned over her face, brows furrowed as he slowly pulled his lower lip between his teeth.
It happened before she knew it; He dropped his belongings, letting them hit the solid metal with a cringe worthy thud, before he strode towards her with long steps. He kept his eyes on her the entire time, and she stood still. Normally, her first reaction would be to step back, or raise her arms. But the look in his eyes said he was not there to hurt her. Not this time.
As he came closer, his hands rose, fingers splayed with palms up, reaching towards her face. He embraced her, his hands gently finding her cheeks, cradling her before he quickly leaned down.
His lips were hot, like fire against her own. Her skin grew warm, her eyes widening as she realized just what was happening.
Kylo simply kissed her harder, his brows knitting together as he clenched his eyes shut, one hand straying from her soft face to run through her hair, threading the strands through his fingers. With a gentle force, he pulled her hair, bringing her head to a tilt, his tongue smoothly slipping along her bottom lip. A soft gasp escapes her, and she lets him in.
It was unusual. Two days ago he was inches away from ending her life, today, right now, he is kissing her with more passion then she had ever felt. She wasn't sure if she should hate this man, broken and torn. Or comfort him, aid him in his battles. Avatra didn't like the confusion that clouded her thoughts, but one thing is for sure.
She did like Kylo Ren's kisses.
She stood there, feeling him embrace her with so much passion it made her knees weak. Her arms, awkwardly held at her sides, slowly and hesitantly made their way upwards. Fingertips lightly trailed up his bare forearms, feeling the smooth skin and taut muscle underneath. She felt him under her hands; The shallow dip of his collarbone, the strong neck that he always hid, the smooth jawline that disappeared into the mess of black waves upon his head. Her fingers hovered over his face, before she gently buried them in his soft hair.
She had always wanted to touch his hair. It was some sort of weird curiosity that had always crossed her mind. But knowing now, the smooth thick stands between her fingers, her thoughts did no justice.
"You..." Kylo breathed against her lips, breaking away just the slightest, "Are a danger to me."
Her breath caught in her throat, her skin crawling with goosebumps as she felt his hot breath against her lips. Never in a thousand years did she think she would have this much of an impact.
Slowly, Kylo opened his eyes, his pupils blown wide as he stared her down. She swore, her heart was beating so hard Kylo could probably hear it.
"I...I'm sorry." She whispered. Was that the right thing to say? What else would you say if you were in this situation. Avatra had the slightest clue.
"You must understand...There are things that you cannot know about me. There are things that you wish you never knew...As well as things you will learn." He began, his hand still locked in her thick brown hair. She swallowed dryly as she clung to his words.
"Over time...I may share my thoughts with you. My past....But right now, we must focus on you." He whispered, searching her emerald orbs. She nodded slowly, pulling her lip between her teeth.
"I understand." She breathed out, her eyes breaking away from his to dart to his full lips.
"Good. No more questions." He whispered, his voice husky and deep. Avatra nodded once more at this, before Kylo quickly leaned down again, stealing her lips in another heated kiss.
Her heart was racing, pounding against her chest with a thud that reverberated through her entire being. Her fingers gripped his hair tightly, as though holding on for dear life against his passionate onslaught. Her mind, overflowing with questions, and thoughts, and concerns.
But right now, the one thought that continued to make itself clear;
I think I'm in love with this man....Oh, mother of Onderon.
How about a vote for that awesome kiss!? xoxo
