The whole world can become the enemy,

When you lose what you love.

She tried desperately to hold in her excitement, but it showed itself clearly on her youthful face; She was smiling broadly as she held onto the belt across her chest, shaking gently as the ship began to rock. Zandro glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, a small smile threatening to pull at his lips.

"Try to remain serious, Ava. This is very important." He teased, the tone in his voice told her he was smirking. Avatra rolled her eyes, before looking over at her brother.

"You know this is important to me as well, Zandro. I've only ever seen Onderon and D'Qar." She countered. Zandro couldn't help but chuckle at this.

"Well, little sister, prepare to be disappointed. Jakku is nothing but desert land." He replied. Avatra frowned at this, slumping back in her seat.

"Well, thanks for that, brother." She mumbled, resting her head back against the seat. After a moments silence, Zandro spoke again.

"I'm sorry, Ava. Maybe after we get this map, we can take a trip to a nearby planet, somewhere pretty. I don't know, maybe we can visit Kashyyyk and you can meet a wookie for the first time." He said, glancing over with a smile. Avatra smiled at this, looking over at her brother.

"I'll hold you to that, Zan. You know how I feel about Wookies." She said. Zandro chuckled lightly,

"Yes, I know Ava. The cutest, deadliest furballs in the universe next to Ewoks." He stated. Avatra laughed lightly,

"But it's true!" She exclaimed, a laugh following suit. Zandro smiled at her, the look in his eyes reminding her of her father.

They landed on Jakku, joined by another small ship as well as Poe on his own fighter.

Avatra was quick to unfasten her belt, grabbing the small blaster Zandro had given her the day before. She knew the basics of how to use the weapon, but holding it in her hands still intimadated her. Zandro geared up as well, grabbing a rifle blaster and looking over at her.

"Are you ready?" He asked, his eyes showing concern.

"Yes, I'm ready. Let's go." Avatra said, quickly stepping past him to head for the exit near the rear of the ship. She pursed her lips as she did this, gripping the blaster tightly. Zandro quirked a smile at this, shaking his head lightly before following suit.

Avatra was quick to exit the ship, stepping onto the soft ground that was Jakku. The wind was strong, blowing sand in her face as well as the cold night air. It was dark, and she could hardly see a thing. It was either that, or there really was nothing on this planet.

"Let's go, Poe and the other's are waiting in the village for us." Zandro spoke up from beside her. She nodded, watching him as he took the lead, before falling in step with him. Their pilot as well as two other men followed closely behind, their weapons in their hands as they approached the small village. Avatra could make out the torches that lit the area, and she realized just how small this village was; It consisted of ten or eleven small buildings, as well as two others that seemed to be shops. In the center of the village was a small shack that was surrounded by pottery and unused wood. As they got closer, she could make out Po, and four other men, waiting beside a large tent on the outskirt of the entrance.

"Took you long enough, Zan!" Poe greeted Zandro with a smile, reaching out as they clasped hands in a quick shake. Poe smiled at her brother, before turning his eyes on her. He raised his brows,
