He walked down the long corridor that lead to the wide, open area. The massive, metal doors closed silently behind him as he walked briskly, stopping right at the end of the platform. He stood there a second, before a large hologram appeared before him;
It stood about 25 feet tall, and pictured an elderly alien male. His face was contorted, covered in scars and burns from ages ago. The pale blue eyes of the creature looked down at Kylo, an expectant expression making itself clear on it's grotesque features.
"I have news, regarding the female human captured two days ago, that will interest you." Kylo spoke up, his mask covering his true voice. The alien leaned back in its seat, resting a hand on the side of the chair with annoyance.
"I do not care about the female human. Why have you kept her alive?" He asked, his voice was slow, and raspy, enunciating it's words with annoyance. Kylo fought the urge to throw him attitude, instead getting right to the point.
"She is force sensitive. I felt it when I captured her on Jakku for interrogation. I wish to know what you think of this." Kylo spoke, looking up at the creature. It pondered a moment, before leaning forward in it's chair. The image would be terrifying to anyone else, but Kylo was well used to it.
"You will train her, and aid her in embracing the dark side. This will be a test not only for the human girl, but for you, as well. If she does not meet our standards within a years time, you will terminate her." It replied. Kylo's expression was that of surprise, although Snoke could not tell beneath his mask.
"As you wish, Supreme Leader Snoke." Kylo then turned on a heel, making his way out of the chamber in a brisk manner, the massive image of Snoke slowly dissipating until it was gone.
Avatra was fast asleep, buried under the comforter of the mattress. She had pulled the sheets past her head, hiding herself completely. Falling asleep was hard, considering there was someone in the room, tasked with watching her every move. Not to mention she had cried for at least another 2 hours before finally drifting off, her eyes sore and swollen.
Outside of her room, Kylo Ren approached with determination in his step. The guard outside the door quickly stood straight, not saying a word as Kylo entered the code to open the door. It opened silently, and he stepped inside to look right at the Stormtrooper.
"Leave." It was a simple word, but the tone he used was demanding and harsh. The Trooper quickly nodded his head, turning on a heel and marching out of the room, while closing the door behind him. Kylo turned around to face the bed, seeing the small lump underneath the covers.
He already knew where she was; He could sense her. The force was strong within her, and she had no idea what power she held at her fingertips. He could also tell she had woken up, but opted to stay hidden underneath the covers. Kylo thought this a bit childish, like hiding from a monster under the bed.
"I know you are awake." He stated, walking closer to the bed, his heavy boots hitting the metal floor seemed to echo through the empty room. He sensed her heartbeat, picking up as he approached, her body tensing up. Kylo stopped walking then, simply staring at the small lump. His frustration grew as he waited for her to move, but she did not.
"Get up, I will not play games with you." He stated, his tone was harsh. Avatra let out a shaky breath, before slowly pushing the covers off her head, looking over them to see Kylo standing at the foot of her bed. She could feel his eyes on her, even through the mask. He said nothing as she pushed the covers off the rest of the way, before slipping off the mattress, her bare feet making contact with the cool metal.
She simply stood beside the bed, her hands at her sides as she waited for him to speak. She was too scared to say anything, to be quite honest. But her mind was asking a million questions at once;
Why am I here? Why is he here, in my cell? He already got the information he needed from me, so why am I still alive?
She didn't realize it, but she was holding her breath, hitched in her throat as she waited through the painful silence. Kylo quirked his head slightly.
"You have questions. I will answer them, to a degree." He stated. Avatra gasped lightly at this, not expecting his statement at all.
"I...I don't know where to begin." She whispered, averting her gaze away from him.
"You want to know why you are here. Why you are still alive." He replied. Her eyes quickly went to his mask, brows furrowed in confusion.
"How..?"
"I can see into your mind. I know what you are thinking." He answered. Avatra felt her breath hitch once more. She felt like there was nothing she could hide from this man.
"You are important to the Supreme Leader. When I captured you on Jakku, I felt something within you. After killing your brother, the feeling intensified, and at that moment I knew." He began, walking around the bed to stop a few feet from her. Avatra hesitated, taking a small step back as he came closer.
"You have the force with you." He finished. Avatra audibly gasped, giving Kylo a look of confusion, and surprise.
"You're mistaken...I don't...I can't possibly-"
"I am never wrong when it comes to this. It is my duty to seek out and kill Jedi, who possess the force. I know that you have the power within you." He spoke with a stern tone. Avatra raised her hand, looking at it for a moment in thought.
"So what do you want with me? Why did you not kill me like all the others?" She asked, averting her eyes to Kylo with knitted brows.
"You have the potential to grow powerful, and we wish to use that to our advantage. I will train you in the ways of the force, and you will comply. If you do not, you will die." He said.
This came as a shock to the young woman. It was hard to comprehend everything this man was tell her, and she almost didn't want to believe it. She had lived half her life fighting against him, and his order. Yet he stood before her, practically requesting her aid in his plight. In this moment, she knew she had two options;
Do as he says, and become a Dark Knight; everything she had fought against, everything she was against, she was to embrace.
Or die at the hands of Kylo Ren.
As she pondered this new information, a thought crossed her mind. She was quick to store it away, though. As she now knew Kylo could very easily read it.
With hesitation in her voice, and shaky legs, she replied.
"I will do it."
