The tour was short lived, and before she could really get a look at anything other than the lounge and a small section near her room, he was escorting her back. She couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. At least she was able to walk about freely now...

"You will still have a trooper with you at all times." He interrupted her thoughts. A small scowl crossed her face as she looked up at the man. He paid her no mind, instead simply walking on with his mask forward.

"The Starkiller base is an enormous ship, the size of a planet. The chances of you getting lost are too great." He explained. "Over time, once you've gotten to know the corridors and levels, you will have your freedom." Well, it was a step forward in the right direction.

"Okay...Before you lock me up for the night. I have one more question." She interjected, stopping in her tracks as he continued. He sighed internally, coming to a stop a few feet before her.

"You are--"

"Not to speak unless spoken to, I know. I apologize. I suppose I'll have to get used to these new rules of yours." She interrupted him. She could feel the anger and annoyance swell in his chest at this, but she managed to ignore that and look right at him.

"Why with the mask again? I know what you look like, already."

Ah, there it was. He was waiting for her to ask that question all day.

"Over the short amount of time we've become acquainted, you've grown fond of me. And I, you. It needs to stop. There are more important things than our emotions." He started, with the feeling that he was telling himself this more than her. "You are here to train in the ways of The Force, and I am your teacher, that was our agreement. I will continue to wear this mask and keep our relationship strictly professional." He finished.

Avatra was unintentionally biting her lower lip as she listened to his words, which seemed to cut right through her. Despite everything he said, she couldn't help how she felt about this man before her. Anger, rage, lust, curiosity...It was all there and swirling around in her chest like a tornado.

"You've grown fond of me?" She asked quietly, a small smile tempting on her lips. Kylo visibly groaned, the noise sounded odd with the vocoder. She was really pushing it, but she needed to know what was going on with this insanely complex man.

"Listen to me, woman." He started, walking towards her with heavy steps. She flinched slightly when he stopped less than a foot in front of her, looking down at her through the blacks of his mask. Even with her new found courage, he was still intimidating.

"This is no game. Our agreement was clear from the beginning. You will train to become a Dark Knight, you will fight with us against the Resistance, and you will remain loyal to the First Order. Do you understand? I will not let anything get in the way of that."

Avatra nodded her head slowly, silently agreeing with him.

"I am doing everything we agreed to. There was nothing in the agreement about this." She whispered. "Trust me, I did not expect this to happen either. But there are things I cannot control...And my feelings for you are one of those things." She admitted, her emerald eyes averted to the ground. He moved back a little, stunned at her words.

She was right, to be fair. Neither of them had foreseen this happening. And they definitely did not talk about it in the agreement. This woman was a constant complication for him on so many levels. His loyalties were strong with the First Order, and he had focused only on his training and his duties, putting that before anything. Including infatuations or relations.
