step up to the plate
because her dad is too late.
i will always be there for her,
because all you do is deter.
spit in her face
and call her a disgrace,
but you will always know
she'll never be able to let go.
keep in mind you were not the first,
but of the ones he loved, you are the worst.
you fill her mind with horrible things
and act as if she is not worth gold and rings.
compare yourself to the one before you.
at least she managed to beautifully shine through.
