Chapter 4

Melody

I opened the front door and allowed Ruby to run into the house first, running into mum's arms and kissing her.

I smiled at mum and dad and headed straight back up into my room, I don't have as good a relationship with mum and dad as Ruby, then again, Ruby was very young and believes that they are her parents and i'm her actual sister.

I don't really know how since she has blonde hair and crimson red eyes.

I remember Georgia more than my actual parents, I remember watching her die, and that's the only clear memory I have of her.

She had her hands on my real mum's chest, probably performing CPR on her, while my real dad looked on, unable to move for some reason, he must have been in shock from my mother being shot.

It's a good job they killed the person that did that in the end.

I sat on my bed and grabbed my laptop, pulling it onto my lap and lay down on my bed. I turned on Facebook and logged in.

I didn't have many friends on here, mainly people I have met online and have become friends with, I looked at my dad's profile, and smiled at the video he posted.

After all of this time, he's still popular on YouTube and i'm so happy for him, I know it makes him happy.

I clicked on the name CaptainSparklez and it brought up his Facebook page, his last video was a vlog, and it included him running into my room and spraying water at me with a water gun.

Fun times.

Dad had about 20 million subscribers, and that made him happy, 20 million people all supporting him after about 20 something years playing Minecraft and all those games.

I looked at the recommended pages at the side of the page, and came face to face with a load of minecraft and gaming channels, we had Seananners, VanossGaming, SkydoesMinecraft and Deadlox.

I clicked on Deadlox, and as usual, the page showed up saying that the page was blocked, it was the same for his YouTube channel.

I know he hasn't uploaded for about 14 years, but Dad just didn't like him for some reason.

I quickly closed the page and opened up my Dad's Facebook page again as my door opened and my dad strolled in.

"Hey sweetheart, just wanted to let you know that somebody is visiting soon, a very good friend of yours... Oh I see you're looking at my Facebook page."

He wiggled his eyebrows and laughed, I smiled and sat up, putting my laptop to my side.

"Who's coming?"

"The Nanner Man"

I smiled and jumped up in glee.

"Yes, Dam is coming!"

Dad laughed and closed the door to my room, I calmed myself down again. I really like Adam, he won't let it go that my first word was supposed to be his name and he treated me like a second father.

Adam is quitting YouTube now, as he is approaching his 50's and doesn't feel like he can handle the stress, he said once he does quit, I could have his channel. I'm so excited for that.

I jumped as a loud 'ping' erupted from my laptop, I gazed at the screen and saw that somebody had sent me a friend request. Who could it be?

I clicked the friend symbol at the top of the screen, and an unfamiliar name showed up.

Alfie Ellis?

I looked at his picture, and faintly recognised him, he was the new boy that I saw earlier today, the one with the strange dad and red eyes.

I didn't want to accept him right away, but something compelled me to, I felt like my hand was being dragged across the touchpad, towards the button, and click.
