James' POV

I felt my eyes slowly flutter open, groaning internally at the Rays from the sun peeking in and momentarily blinding me. I raised my hand up to my head and rubbed it cautiously, trying my best to ignore the extreme aching coming from it. It felt like there were little men in there, constructing some massive project and setting up a building site in my head. I frowned as I glanced around me, realising I was sprawled out on a sofa, wearing skinny jeans and a black vest. Where was i?

I looked to the right and shook my head at the empty beer cans and pizza boxes scattered around everywhere, wherever I was, I certainly wasn't at home. I swung my feet round and planted them firmly on the floor, raising myself up slowly from the sofa, being careful not to move my head too quick and make myself dizzy. I already felt pretty sick, I didn't want to trigger it any more. I bit my lip as I squinted, peering behind me before shooting back round as a phone began to ring. I was about to get up to find the phone, but the sound of feet padding across the wooden floor made me remain in my seat. My eyes widened as I spotted a bright faced Luna enter the living room, her hair scraped back into a bun and a long shirt covering her body down to her thighs.

Surely I didn't do anything stupid.

I watched as she strode over to the phone and pressed the red button before turning to me and grinning,

"Morning sleepy." I ignored her comment and stood up, clutching my head at the dizziness before locking my eyes with hers.

"What am I doing here? Did we.." I trailed off, pointing back and forth between myself and Luna. She let out a loud laugh and slowly tipped her head back, the bun not moving from the top of her head.

"Oh you wish sweetie, you were way too drunk for us to go any further than making out, so that's what we did. Then you passed out on the sofa so the guys just left you there, well Con wanted to take you but he was a little too tipsy and ended up passing out in my bath." I shook my head and began patting my jeans down, searching for my phone. I glanced behind me and felt a wave of relief as I spotted it on the arm of the sofa, I picked it up and turned back to Luna.

"So where is Con now?

"Oh he's long gone, he wanted to go home and go to bed." I grunted at all of the notifications on my phone before sliding it into my back pocket,

"Would you mind ordering me a taxi please? I'd do it myself but I don't know where I am." I confessed, Luna nodded at me as she swiftly walked over, swaying her hips from left to right. She eventually stopped in front of me and placed her hand on my chest, gradually moving it up and down.

"I know what you wanted to do last night James, and I know it'll eventually happen, you just won't be as drunk next time." I frowned before pushing her hand off my chest, stepping back slightly.

"I don't think us having this conversation is a good idea." She had a quick look around her before focusing back on me,

"If you're worried about anybody hearing us, you don't need to be, there's nobody home." I rolled my eyes and pushed last her, ruffling my hair.

"No, no, it's not about that. I'm just - you know - not interested."

"Not interested? Oh please, you just don't want anything to get in the way of you and El hooking up, I understand." I opened my mouth to defend myself but Luna continued to speak,

"She might have a problem with some of the pictures from last night though, but you can deal with that. I'll go order your taxi." She smirked at me before turning on her heels and leaving the room, I scrambled to get my phone out of my pocket and looked at the most recent photos I had been tagged in. My jaw dropped as dozens of images of me and Luna appeared on my screen, so I began untagging myself as quickly as possible. A couple of minutes later Luna returned,

"The taxi is on its way." I thanked her and slid my shoes on,

"I'll wait for it outside." I began to walk up to the front door, however Luna reached out and grabbed my hand, turning me back around to face her.

"Do I not get a goodbye hug?" I reluctantly opened my arms and engulfed her in a brief hug, as I pulled away I noticed Luna's lips edging closer to mine, however I shook my head and stepped away from her.

"I've already told you no Luna, now stop." I demanded, she rolled her eyes at me and leant past me, opening the front door and tilting her head towards it.

"Fine, goodbye James." I huffed and walked out of the house, remaining silent and wrapping my arms around me, attempting to protect myself from the cold winds nipping at my skin. I paced back and forth for a while until the taxi showed up, and I was quick to jump in and give the taxi driver the address for Ella's house. I was anxious to see her, there were so many thoughts going through mind but all I could think about was had she seen the photos? Was she mad, sad, annoyed, not bothered?

The questions left my mind as I pulled up outside of Ella's house, my mind immediately turned to panic mode and I handed the taxi driver some money, telling him to keep the change and clambering out of the taxi. I inhaled deeply before exhaling and gradually making my way up the pathway to Ella's house, my palms were already sweating but I ignored it and knocked on the door. Moments later it was pulled open to reveal an angry looking Ella, who attempted to slam the door in my face. However, I was too quick for her and put my foot in the way of the door shutting, so she gave in and opened it again.

"What do you want?" She sighed,

"I want to talk to you about last night."

"What? About you and Luna? Yeah I think I know all I need to know about that, bye James." She once again attempted to shut the door, however I pressed my hand against it and held it open.

"You don't, honestly. We didn't sleep together, I promise you." I confessed,

"And is that supposed to make this whole situation better James? Is it? You can't just come here all lovey dovey and kiss me, then run away halfway through just to hook up with another girl! You're pathetic James." She laughed, I shook my head at her and scratched the back of my neck.

"It's not like that El, please. I wanted to kiss you, I don't regret doing it at all. I just got too drunk last night and I didn't know what was going on-"

"I regret letting you kiss me." I ignored the pang in my heart and stared at her,

"El, you don't mean that."

"I do James, now just leave me alone." And with that, she slammed the door in my face.
