The end of our tutoring session came rather quickly and to be honest, I wasn't sure whether I was happy or sad. James had proved that he was the cocky person I thought he was however there was a side of him that was different, there was a side of him that cared for me a lot, I think. He was constantly offering me food and drink, asking me if I was warm enough, checking I was alright every second. When I began to feel a little cold he offered me his favourite hoody almost immediately, of course I didn't decline, I was cold. I slid it on and was instantly surrounded a strong aroma of men's aftershave, James definitely knew how to smell good.

"Do you want me to walk you home or?" James asked, peering out of the window. I took a quick glance and cursed under my breath, it was already dark and I hadn't even set off home. Mum was going to go crazy.

"I don't mind." I replied, slipping on my shoes and packing my bag up.

"I'll be a gentleman and walk you." I smiled and picked my bag up, following James as he lead the way down the stairs.

"James, is that you?" Somebody called from the kitchen, my heart began to race a little. I was hoping James' family weren't going to be home,

"Yeah it's me ma." I frowned, ma? I heard clicking of heels as we reached the bottom of the stairs and turned to see a perky woman with brown curled hair smiling at me,

"Who's this?" She asked smiling,

"Ella, she's from school." She gave James 'the look' before smiling and introducing herself. I said hello back but was soon dragged away by James, he pushed me out of the door and down the pathway rather quickly.

"Well that was rude." I scoffed, securing my bag back on my back.

"Yeah well you shouldn't have spoke to her." He scoffed, dragging me along with him.

"Why? She spoke to me so I had to say something back." He shook his head and picked up his pace,

"You didn't. You could have just ignored her." I frowned,

"No, I'm not rude James and you should know that. If somebody talks to me I'm obviously going to talk back." He sighed,

"Well just don't talk to her or anybody else in my family, she's cruel." I laughed a little,

"Cruel? She definitely seems it." He rolled his eyes and stopped at the traffic lights.

"You don't know her like I do, she'll put on that stupid act and pretend she's the most wonderful person on Earth. When really, Satan is living inside her soul." I ran my fingers through my hair and ignored James, he was overreacting, I only said hello to the woman. I didn't tell her everything about me. Besides, that isn't a nice way to talk about his mum. We approached the street just around the corner from mine and the heavens decided to open, I let out a loud sigh because I hated being in the rain.

"I'll let you walk from here." James said, stopping dead.

"Erm, okay?" I began to walk away however he called me back,

"I need my jumper, it's raining." The cheek of him. He was going to let me walk home in the rain with a sleeveless top on, I knew he was a jerk. I placed my bag on the wall and pulled the hoody over my head, scoffing and throwing it at him.

"God babe, chill out." He smirked, pulling it on.

"Just píss off James." I muttered, grabbing my bag and storming off down the street. I heard him laugh and turned to see him running home, I would run back to my house but knowing me I'd fall flat on my face. It happened quite a lot.

I reached my house and flopped through the door, water dripping off me at every angle.

"Ella! Where have you been? I said come home before it gets dark, look at the state of you. You're soaking!" I rolled my eyes and threw my bag aside,

"I forgot mum, I'm sorry." She chucked a towel to me,

"Well I suggest you go take a nice hot bath then get into bed, you have school tomorrow." She turned on her heels and marched away, I ran up the stairs and into the bathroom. I peeled my clothes off and wrapped a warm towel around me whilst the bath ran, James honestly was a real jerk. He acted completely different when he was alone with me, he actually treated me like a real person. Yet when I make one little mistake he snaps and treats me like some dirt stuck to the bottom of his shoe, he truly does disgust me.

I climbed into the bath and let my cold body warm up, it began tingling as it does when you go from cold to hot but it soon became soothing. I lay back and relaxed, wiping all thoughts of James out of my mind. After spending half an hour in the bath I climbed out and dried my hair before changing into my pyjamas, I slipped my hair up into a pony tail and snuggled up into bed. I placed my phone on the side but soon picked it up again when the bright light lit up my room, I squinted my eyes and unlocked it to see I had a message from James. What did he want?

From: James Mcvey

Hope you didn't get too cold, I owe you cuddles when we next meet ;) night babe x x

Are you being serious? He made me walk home in the freezing cold rain AND took his hoody, then he has the guts to text me and say we should cuddle. What an actual arse. I scoffed and locked my phone before plugging it in to charge, there was no way I was going to reply to him and let him think he's all that once again.

I flipped my phone over and rolled onto my side, I wonder what it would be like to cuddle with him though? He's got a lot of muscle, I know that for a fact. He's constantly at the gym near my house, and he can sing pretty good. I bet he'd wrap his muscular arms around you and have your head resting on his chest, he'd lightly trace patters on your arm whilst he sang softly in your ear. It'd be-no. I wiped all thoughts of him off my mind and closed my eyes, hoping to drift off into a nice Jamesless sleep.
