James' POV
I walked onto the school grounds, sliding my sunglasses on and glancing round me. It was my final year and I couldn't wait to get out of this place, I'd been here for too long now and I was bored. As I walked further and further onto the school grounds I was joined by Con, my main man.
"You ready for your last year?" He asked, loosening his tie. I nodded,
"Definitely, I can't wait to get out of here." We continued our talk as we made our way to the last of our 'gang'. We turned the corner and were joined by Tris and Brad, who were both eyeing up the girls that scurried past. They were giggling and blushing at the fact somebody popular had noticed them. I rolled my eyes and lent against the wall,
"This is it lads, our final year." Tris said, swinging an arm around my shoulder. I smiled widely, we'd been popular since the day we first joined and we weren't going to be forgotten when we left. It was cool having such a big reputation.
"There's only one thing that sucks about this year," Con began, we all turned to him and frowned.
"Prom." We all sighed and rolled our eyes, Tris pulled his arm away from me and fixed his hair. He tended to do that a lot, especially in stressful situations.
"We've got to have dates to go with, it's all part of our role. I don't know what to do or who to take, it's going to be a boring decision." Connor continued, I bit my lip before grinning.
"Well lets make it fun then! If you haven't got your eye on a specific girl, we pick who you've got to take." The boys all smiled and nodded,
"Sounds good. So do any of you have your eyes on a girl?" Connor asked, taking a place against the wall next to me.
"I do." Brad perked up, we all turned to him and beckoned him to go on.
"She's called Danni, she was in a few of my classes last year. She's cool and pretty hot so why not." I leant forward and slapped his back lightly,
"Go on mate." He rolled his eyes, Brad never enjoyed too much attention. Especially when it came to his love life, I was actually surprised he told us.
"Anyone else?" Tristan stepped forward.
"I'm sort of seeing a girl, so I'm taking her. She's called Kelly." I nodded in approval, my boys had been doing pretty well for themselves. Normally I'd be the leader, finding decent girls for them to date. Looks like leaving them to do it themselves worked better.
"So it's just me and you Con, pick away lads." Brad and Tris turned to each other and began discussing who to pick.
"Right, Con first." Tris began, turning back to us. He raised an eyebrow, ready for whatever they had to throw at him.
"Izzy." Tris grinned,
"That's fine by me, she catches my eye a lot." Con winked, I chuckled lightly at him. He could win any girl over, he had a strong charm about him.
"So, James..." Brad smirked, I frowned, worried on what they had to say next.
"We decided you needed a bit of a harder challenge." I sighed, immediately regretting letting them pick my date.
"Ella Blue." My eyes widened and my jaw dropped, Connor burst out laughing and the other boys had smiles playing on their lips.
"You mean the girl that probably doesn't know I exist? She's so quiet!" Brad shrugged his shoulders,
"You reckon you can get any girl, go ahead. Show us that you really are the man." I shook my head at them, I HAD to keep my reputation. Ella Blue, here I come.
