She stood in front of the mirror, and smoothed her dress down.

"Mum," Grace smiled, causing Connie to look up and smile at her,

"You look beautiful Gracie..."

"Connie..." Rita smiled, "Jacob masters will not know where to look..."

"Here..." Zoe smiled, handing Connie a thin silver necklace with two circles, one engraved with a C, the other with a J, "We got you this... Something new,"

"Thank you... It's beautiful... Will you put it on me?" Connie replied as Rita clipped the dainty chain around her neck, before smoothing down her dress nervously

Connie smiled, "I'm doing the right thing aren't I..."

"Yes," Zoe, Rita and Grace smiled,

"Right... Let's go," Rita nodded,

He stood tall at the altar. He wore a dark suit that fit in all the right places, his hands nervously in his pocket.

He couldn't help but think of Connie last night, he couldn't help but think of how she felt that morning sleepily cuddled up to him.

He couldn't help the smile that spread across his face as she walked down the aisle. He loved her, he knew that much, but it was so much more than that. He exhaled as she neared him. She wore an intricate, lacy white dress, that skimmed her slender figure and dipped down low at the back. Her hair was clipped up, with curly strands falling either side of her face. Her make up was light, her lashes dark and curly.

"You look nervous Mr. Masters," she smiled as she took his hand gently,

"You look so beautiful," he whispered into her ear, "I've never seen anyone look more beautiful..."

"I love you," she whispered into his ear.

"Connie," he smiled as he took her hands in his own and squeezed them, "I didn't know what love was until I met you. You make me feel things I've never felt before. You're beautiful and fiery and the best mother and friend and lover I could ever want. I feel so happy and so blessed to be here like this with you. Your strength and determination after the accident showed me just how incredible you are..." He  ran his hand across her cheek softly, "I believe  that our love came when id given up asking love to come; I think that has to be part of it's miracle. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life alongside you, I promise I will spend the rest of my life loving you."

She smiled, her eyes meeting his, "I told myself id never allow myself to fall in love again, let alone get married again... But I knew the moment we kissed that I wanted more for the two of us than id ever imagined with someone else." She squeezed his hand, "I love you, for many things, but especially for your passion, and patience and for the love you've shown me and Grace, I will always thank you for that. I love you, I can't wait to become Mrs. Masters,"

After the vicar announced them man and wife, Jacob took her gently into his arms and kissed her, he kissed her in a way she knew he'd never kissed her before. "Come here princess," he murmured, as he lifted her as she wrapped her arms around his neck as everyone around them clapped.

"Does this make you my prince?" She whispered quietly,

"I'll be whatever you want me to be," he replied honestly.

She kissed him as he placed her down again; "my husband," she whispered softly, "just be my husband."

The look in her eyes made him feel weak at the knees, hell she made him forget he even had knees at all , "always..." He nodded, "now you've taken my name I'm never letting you go again."
