"You.....you know my father," asked Devin.
"I sure do. I will tell him ALL about what happened today. Including the part of you treating my daughter differently."
Devin looked terrified.
"Please don't tell my dad! I'll treat Ali like any other person. As long as you don't tell my dad," begged Devin.
"You've got a deal."
-26 days later-
I walk into the charms classroom and sit down next to Hermione.
Professor Flitwick put us into groups. I was put in a group with Ron.
"Now, don't forget that nice wrist movement we've been practicing," said Professor Flitwick in his usual squeaky voice.
Everyone remembered it.
Ron started waving his hands like a windmill saying,"Wingardium Leviosa!"
"You're saying it wrong! It's Wing-GAR-dium Levi-O-sa, make the gar nice and long," I snapped at Ron.
"Why don't you do it, if your so clever"
I rolled up my sleeves and flicked my wand. "Wingardium Leviosa"
Our feather floated off the desk.
"Well done! Miss Graves' done it," yelled Professor Flitwick.
After class, I was walking in the courtyard behind Harry and Ron when I heard Ron say,"It's no wonder no one can stand her. She's a nightmare honestly."
I ran past them crying. I heard Haru stand up for me. "I can stand her! I'm her best friend!"
I ran into the girls bathroom and went into a stall. I cried for about twenty minutes. I walked out of the stall and over to the sink. I wet my face.
I looked over to the door and saw a mountain troll standing there.
"AHHHH," I screamed. I ran back into the stall hoping the troll wouldn't hurt me.
"Confuse it" I heard someone yell. I walked out of the stall to see who was saving me. It was Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.
The troll was coming straight towards me.
"Run," yelled Harry. I ran behind a sink.
"Oy, pea-brain!" yelled Ron. Ron threw a metal pipe at the troll.
"Bad idea Ron," I yelled. The troll started coming towards me again.
Harry jumped on top of the troll and stick his wand into the troll's nose.
"Harry! That's gross," I yelled at Harry.
"Do you want to live or not?" asked Harry.
Ron pulled out his wand and correctly performed the flying spell. The troll's club flew out of the troll's hand.
Ron put away his wand and the club fell on the troll's head, knocking the troll out.
Harry pulled his wand out of the troll's nose. It was covered in troll boogers.
Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall and Professor Quirrell ran into the room.
"What on earth were you thinking?" yelled Professor McGonagall. " Your lucky you weren't killed! Why aren't you in your dormitory?"
Umm. Professor McGonagall, they were looking for me," I told the professor.
"Ms. Graves!"
"I went looking for the troll. I thought I could defeat it. I've read all about them you know. If they hadn't found me, I'd be dead now. Harry stuck his wand up its nose. Ron knocked it out with its own club. They didn't have time to come and find anyone."
I heard Ron drop his wand. I knew why he dropped it too. I usually never lie to a teacher.
"In that case. Ali! You foolish lady! Why did you think you could defeat a mountain troll."
"Five points from Ravenclaw. And five points for Ron and Harry each!"
I walked out of the room. Professor Quirrell caught up with me and said,"Mrs G-Graves! C-can you f-follow me f-for a moment?"
I stopped walking towards the Ravenclaw common room. "Of course!"
I followed Professor Quirrell into his classroom.
"I w-want to s-show you s-something."
Professor Quirrell started to take off his turban.
Once it was fully off he turned around. "You idiot! Now she knows too much," yelled the face on the back of Professor Quirrell's head.
"She won't be a threat, master!" said Professor Quirrell.
"W-why aren't you stuttering," I asked him.
"Ali, I trust you. You won't be in any danger from my master unless you tell someone. I was pretending to stutter all along."
I was scared. Really scared. But as long as I didn't tell anyone and as long as Professor Quirrell trusted me, I wouldn't be in danger.
"W-who is that," I asked while pointing to Professor Quirrell's second face.
"Foolish girl! It's rude to point," yelled the face.
"This Ali, is my master. His name is Lord Voldemort"
I started to feel slightly light headed. "I'm just gonna sit down he-" I fainted.
