"Yeah I think so," I told them.
Professor Dumbledore looked at me and said,"If he ever tries to hurt you again, come to me."
"Yes professor. I will," I said.
I got off the ground and my dad developed me into a hug.
"Ali Chantel Graves! Why didn't you tell me about this?" scolded dad.
"He said if I told anyone I would be in danger. I wanted to keep from being in danger dad."
Dumbledore looked at me and dad and said,"Christmas break is soon. I guess you are going to your dad's house Ali?"
I nodded.
"I won't be there to protect you over Christmas Break so your dad will have to protect you."
I had missed five days worth of classes so to catch up I started to study a lot more.
I was in the middle of studying my potions book in the library when Professor Snape walked up to me.
"Hello Ali. I heard Professor Quirrell performed the Crucio curse on you four weeks ago. He can't do that to a student especially a first year." said Professor Snape.
"Yeah he did. It hurt a lot." I told the professor.
"You know that we are not going to have anymore classes until after Christmas break. So there is no need to be in the library studying."
"I know professor. It's just that I'm going to my dad's house over the break and I will have no time to study while I'm there. I heard from Emily that dad's house has its own quidditch field. And since Professor Quirrell performed the curse on me, my dad will be trying to keep me busy so I have a good Christmas especially one without pain."
"Does your dad have a feeling that this will happen again Miss Graves? 'cause I have that feeling." said the professor.
I returned my book to the librarian and walked out of the library. I went to the Ravenclaw common room, walked up the stairs to the girls dorms and started packing my stuff.
Haru walked in. "Hey Haru. Why haven't you packed yet?" I asked.
"I'm not going home for the holidays. I can see you are." said Haru.
"Well. Watch after Harry and Ron for me. Make sure they stay out of trouble." I said to Haru.
She nodded.
-3 days later-
"Everyone who is going home for the holidays come with me!" yelled Hagrid.
Hagrid led us onto the train.
I walked into a compartment that had the Gryffindor prefect sitting in it.
"Hey Percy. Why aren't you in the part of the train that's reserved for prefects?"
"Oh hey Ali. I just didn't feel like going into there. In there is usually kinda crowded since professors go in there as well. You going to your dad's house during the holidays? I'm going to Romania to visit my older brother Charlie. He watches after dragons." said Percy.
"Yeah I'm going to my dad's house during the holidays. Do you mind if I sit here? All of my friends are staying at Hogwarts for the holidays."
"No I don't mind. I'll put your stuff in a seat. Your stuff looks way too heavy for a first year. Are you bringing your class books with you?" said Percy.
"Thanks and I am bringing my class books just in case I have time to study. I also packed all my clothes that I brought to Hogwarts with me." I said to Percy.
I sat down near the window while Percy handled my stuff for me. I was looking out the window. We were going past a bunch of pastures and farms. It looked so peaceful. I wonder where dad's house is.
"Percy. Do you think Professor Quirrell will perform the Crucio curse on me again. Professor Snape and dad think he will." I asked Percy.
"He might but if he does do it again he will get fired and I'm pretty sure no one would hire him if they figured out that he performed a curse on a child. So I think no but then again who knows what he will do."
Percy was now sitting down in the seat across from me.
"It looks so peaceful out there Percy. I wonder what dad's house is like. It's probably a mansion."
"You know Ali, I've actually seen a picture of your dad's house. Mum fancys him quite a bit. She will be happy to know that she met her life long star's daughter. Mum puts pictures of things about him everywhere. She even has a picture of your twin sister hanging above the stove."
Well that's not creepy at all. I continued looking out the window. We were now going past small towns. It looks beautiful out there.
"So have you been to Romania before? I bet Romania looks beautiful."
"No I haven't been to Romania before. We've been to Egypt a couple of times but that was nothing."
It looks like we are pulling up to the station. The train came to a halt and Percy went to pick up my stuff for me. Percy carried my luggage out to my dad. I ran up to my dad and said,"Hi dad! Where's Emily?"
"My dear child, she should be coming out of the train now."
I looked over at the train just in time to see Emily step out.
Emily calmly walked over to us.
"My dear children. Lets go home before anyone asks us for an autograph or photograph."
I sat down in my dad's red Lamborghini. On the inside were leather seats and a Slurpee dispenser.
"Ali, do you want a Slurpee?" asked my dad.
"Yes please! Make it a watermelon with a Cherry on top." I answered.
Dad put a cup under the dispenser and the Slurpee I wanted became real. He handed the Slurpee to me and I started to devour it. After about 20 minutes in the car, we pulled up to a nice wooden mansion. The driveway was made out of concrete and there were pink tulips everywhere. We walked inside the house into what looked like, an entry way. There were coat hangers to the right and to the left were places to put shoes. It was a four by four square room.
"Ali take off your shoes. Same with you Emily."
We took off our shoes and put them where they went.
We walked through the door on the wall opposite the side we walked in. The room we walked into was a five by six room. It looked like a living room. On the right side wall was a fireplace and surrounding the fireplace were comfy couches. One of them were L-shaped and the other was a loveseat. Inside of the fireplace was a roaring fire.
"Ali let me show you your room." said dad.
Dad led me through the living room, into a hallway, up a set of stairs, and into a bedroom.
The bedroom was absolutely beautiful. The brown wooden walls were decorated green butterflies. There was a green heart shaped rug. Against the wall furthest from me was a double bed. On the bed were green blankets and a green pillow. There were plenty of windows looking out onto the quidditch field.
"Hope you like it my dear child. I heard from your mother that your favorite colour is green so I went with a green colour scheme." said my dad.
"Dad! I don't like it! I LOVE IT! It has an absolutely stunning view of the quidditch field. The bed looks comfortable and I absolutely LOVE butterflies!"
