Ali Graves: The Muggleborn (FINISHED)

Chapter 15

       It's now Christmas.
"Ali! Wake up! We have presents to open!" yelled Emily.
    "Ugh. Emily. We are having a break from school. I wish to sleep in." I told her.
     "Fine! I'LL JUMP ON YOUR BED! You're sooo lazy!" said Emily.
      I made the mistake of not getting up. Emily climbed onto my bed and started jumping.
    "Fine.....I'm up!" I said. I got up from my bed to see that Emily was wearing a white cotton dress and boots.
     Emily left the room so I could get dressed.
     I walked over to my walk in closet that had a beautiful crystal chandelier. I grabbed some blue jeans. I grabbed a sweater with red and white stripes. I also grabbed some cowgirl boots. I put my hair up in a ponytail. Then I put on the outfit I had picked out and headed downstairs. Mom, stepdad,Robert,and Rachel had gone home a week ago. The Weasleys had come to visit and they had stayed in the guest house.
      "Hello Mrs. Weasley! How was Romania?" I asked. They had come so late that I hadn't had time to ask.
      "Oh Ali! It was absolutely wonderful! We saw plenty of dragons!" said Mrs. Weasley.
   I ran over to the huge Christmas tree that Emily, daddy, and I decorated last night.
     There was, at least twenty-four presents underneath it.
       I grabbed the biggest present. It had my name on it.
     I unwrapped it to reveal a karaoke machine.
     "Dad! I love it! How did you know that I liked to sing?" I said to dad.
      Daddy looked at me and smiled. "I didn't buy that present for you. Rachel did. You better thank her."
            At the end of the day, I had gotten a karaoke machine, an art book, a night telescope for when I'm at home, a camera, and a green sweater with the letter a on front.
      For dinner, we had Ratatouille. I went to bed feeling very happy.
