I entered the office, bringing Kim her coffee for the day.
"Here you go." I handed it to her and my eyes flashed at the new plate that said "Mrs Gilinksy" now. I grew a tiny, unnoticeable grin.
"Thanks....please close my door honey." Kim said with exhaustion.
I closed her door and sat down in front of her desk.
"I understand you need to --"
"Stop, Carina..... Just stop."
"No, I know what I did on Friday was wrong....."
"Leave it alone, I'm past that." She wiped a tear from under her eye.
She sniffled. "I need you to sell 50 houses before next Monday or you're fired." Her voice cracked.
"What?!?? I can't do that!"
"I don't care how you do it.....I don't care if it's illegal. All I care about is my platform in the business world, the money, my houses being sold, and my company staying up, not shutting down....got it? That was a rhetorical question please leave my office." She wrote down something on a post it note and gave it to me.
I stood up and walked out, slamming her door.
She expected me to sell 50 fucking houses in a week??!? I can barely sell 5 in 2 weeks!
I walked out the building and ran into jack.
"Going somewhere?"
"Oh isn't that how we met ?" I tried pushing him out the way but he didn't budge.
"Kind of." He smiled.
"Why did you act like you didn't know me?"
"Why do you think? You know she'll think I'm some type of like molester!"
"She's like 15 years older than you....she's a cougar."
"But I treat her right." He smirked.
"Ugh, can you please move?"
"I missed you."
"Fuck off, go with Kim."

I rolled my eyes.

I took a deep breath.
He bent down to my ear. "Meet me at the library...."
He walked inside of the building and I continued out to my car.
"Wait jack!!" I called out.
"Yeah?"

I walked up to the library doors and scanned my card. The doors granted me access.

I walked over to the back of the library and saw Jack waiting on the wall between the men's and ladies room.
"Check if anyone is in there....."
I went inside and it was empty.

He layed me flat across the automatic sinks, soaking me in water.

"You're right.... Should've never helped you." He stood up and went towards my door. I got up and stopped him.
"Jack.... Just be loyal to her....."
