Jack still wasnt there when I woke up.

I went around the house until I found him in his man cave in the basement.

It was huge. It had everything. A pool table, 5 classic arcade game machines, a basket ball court, 3 flat screens. One playing the basket ball game. One for the Xbox and one for the PlayStation. There was even a pool behind the glass door.

Jack was sitting playing the Xbox with Johnson.

"Hey guys." I acknowledged myself.

Johnson and Jack both flashed a glare at me.

"Carina? What are you doing here?"

"Visiting." I simply responded and he nodded.

"Gilinsky, can I talk to you when you're done?" He shrugged and I walked back upstairs to make lunch.

I made up bacon burgers with fries, salad and a coke on the side. Enough for Johnson too.

As I was setting up plates Gilinsky came upstairs to greet me without Johnson.

"You needed me?" He solemnly spoke and I stopped what I was doing.

"Yeah, I just wanted to apologize for snapping at you yesterday...."

"Don't worry about it I'm not mad."

"You look sad." I walked in closer and he did to.

He hugged me. "I'm not, just not feeling too well today, plus I have to go back to work tomorrow... I used up almost all of my paid time off."

"Aw, stay home just one more day and I'll make you feel better..."

He looked down as I looked up.

"What do you have in mind?" He smirked.

"Eat your food and spend time with Johnson. I'll be out of your hair."

"I like you in my hair, both literally and metaphorically."

We nuzzled noses and he kissed me three short times before I let go of our hugging position and took my food to the table.

Jack grabbed the boys plates and took them downstairs.

"Thanks baby!" He called.

"You're welcome."

Soon after that, nate blew up my phone with snaps.
