SEVEN

~Addison pov~

When I was done crying I realized that tomorrow I have a date. I should probably forget Josh. Move on and go on the date. See how that is. Besides maybe Josh didn't like me. Maybe things weren't meant to be.

I stayed a little longer but felt the need to talk to Josh. When I stood up I was soon pulled back down again. I looked up to see who it was.

Grayson.

"Hey baby you look good." He looked me up and down.

"Don't call me baby." I didn't know why he was acting like this. He reached around my waist and pulled my lips against his. This was wrong I didn't like it. I didn't like him. I needed to get way from him. He pulled me further into the kiss when I tried to get away. Kissing me down my neck I freaked out. A panic attack was starting to form and I couldn't do anything because I wasn't strong enough.

Black flooded my vision and the last thing I saw was red someone yelling and screaming and pulling Grayson off of me. I must have fallen. Hard.

~Josh pov~

I got back in my car and continued to drive. The need and thrive to find Addi was the only thing that kept !e going. For all I know she could be dead. I could have killed possibly the most amazing girl to ever walk this planet. It would be all my fault. So I hopes with all my life she was still alive.

I started to loose hope as i neared an empty dog park. Addi was standing with a guy. He pulled her in by grabbing her around the waist. When he kissed her the next thing that kept me going wa anger. She didn't care about me she cared about him. No I didn't know who he was but the way they kissed made feel like she wanted to be with him. I noticed she tried to push away and he deepend the kiss. That made me realize she didn't want him and he was forcing her. I ran out of my car and to her. He didn't stop he just continued to kiss her. Down her neck.

You could see bruises forming on her neck and the color on her face was now pale. With all my strength I grabbed him and punched him in the face. He fell to the ground and I ran over to Addi as she fell in my arms.

"J-Josh?" She closed her eyes and that was the last thing she said.

I carried her back to the car. Carefully I put her in the passenger seat. I held her hand while I drove us back to her house. Leaving her car there was the only option. She wouldn't wake up anytime soon so taking her was a good choice. That Grayson guy was such a dick. He forced her to kiss him. How rude.

When we got back to her house she was slowly waking up. Bridal style I carried her back inside. Thankfully her mom was still at work so I didn't have to worry about what I would say when her daughter is passed out in my arms.

"Yo dude what the hell happened?" Tyler must have heard me walk in.

"Just help me get her up the stairs and then I will explain." I was very careful. Or at least trying.

"What did you do to my sister Joshy!" Stephanie ran down the stairs right after Tyler. Great I thought to myself. What Stephanie did was wrong. She knew I liked Addi she saw it. She was jealous.

"Just go back up stairs okay." I told her. She walked back to her room and slammed the door. We carried her up the stairs and into her room. Carefully we placed her on the bed. She started waking up more. Opening her eyes she spoke.

"J-Josh?"

"I'm right here it's okay Addi." I grabbed her hand and held it in my hand.

"What happened?" She spoke softly.

"Well Grayson was harrassing so I beat the shit out of him." She slightly laughed.

"I didn't want it you know?" She started to sit up.

"Okay." I wanted so badly to believe her but I didn't know what to do. "I'll go get you some water. And with that I walked out of her room.

~Addison pov~

When I woke up I saw Josh was sitting next to me. I was thankful it was him and I still had clothes on. Thankful it wasn't Grayson. I whispered his name and he turned to face me. He tried his best to comfort me. He slipped his hand in mine.

"What happened?" I spoke quietly.

"Well Grayson was harassing you so I beat the shit out of him." I laughed. Josh protected me. Josh cared about me.

"You know I didn't want him?" I looked down at my hands. They were turning white again. He simply said okay and went downstairs. I wanted him to believe me. He sounded so unsure. Maybe I was right. Maybe it wasn't meant to be. Maybe he didn't love me.
