TWELVE

~Josh pov~

I was driving to the hotel. I was angry at myself. Running off was the dumbest decision. Staying would have been so much better for both me and Addi. I arrived at a run down hotel. It wasn't Addi's house but it was afortable. I walked to the counter payed for the night and walked to my room. Addi was probably enjoying herself without me. She was probably laughing and happy I was gone. All of a sudden I got a text from Tyler.

Me: Hey where are you?

I replied shortly after.

Josh: Well Addison's mom kicked me out so I'm in a hotel.

Tyler: What the hell happened?

Josh: We kissed, Stephanie saw lied to their mom and told her that we had sex and then she came up stairs yelled at me to get out and then blamed all of it on Addison.

Tyler: Damn. Well Addi tried to kill herself so you didn't miss much.

Josh: WHAT!

I was scared what does he mean tried. Is she okay?? What the hell happened.

Tyler: Yeah after you left she was on the bridge and I noticed her and saved her life.

Josh: This is all my fault where are you I need to talk to her.

Tyler: Good luck she won't even talk to the nurse. We are gonna head back in a little while when she is done filling out the papers.

I grabbed my keys and ran out the door as fast as I could. When I reached my car I finally took a breath. Quickly I got in started the car and drove to Addi's house. Was she okay? Was she even still alive? What did I do? This is all my fault if I had just stayed she would be okay.

When I got her house I jumped out of the car and didn't even bother to shut the car off. I needed to see if Addi was okay. I ran up the stairs to her room. Swinging it open I saw Addi on the bed. Tyler looked at me. He was mad. Why wouldn't he be.

"Shh be quiet she hit her head pretty hard. Also she can't sleep I have watched her for a while so now it's your turn buddy." With that he bolted pit the door. Did hwe not think maybe she hated me.

"Ty-Tyler?" She called out.

"Actually it's Josh." I was so scared she was going to jump out of the bed and strangle me. She had the right to.

"Leave." She spoke quietly I could barely hear her. "Get put now Josh I never want to see you again!" She yelled.

"I-i" she cut me off

"Don't you dare say you are sorry because you aren't you left! You abandoned me! I tried to kill myself because of you! You caused all these marks on my body! You killed me Joshua! You made me the monster who I am! Don't you dare ever think a simple 'I'm sorry' will fix everything because nothing can be fixed! Ever! Just go and never come back! Delete my number! Don't even speak to me cause I hate you! I hate you Joshua!" She sat up and then stood up. Her face was a flushed red, and she had tears streaming down her face.

"I never intended for any of this to happen." I spoke quietly. " I never intended to hurt you. I left so I wouldn't hurt you anymore." She ran over to me and fell into my arms. She was quiet and my shirt was stained with tears. Tears that should never have come from her eyes. " I love you Addi. I really truly due. I'm never leaving again. And neither are you. This time things will be different. This time you will stay alive." I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I lifted her and carried her back to the bed. As I went to leave she said something.

"Stay." And so I did. This time I will stay.
