ELEVEN

~Tyler pov~

I was coming back from the store after picking up a few things. Stopped at a red light I saw a girl standing near the edge of the wall. She seemed familiar but I couldn't see well. I took a closer look and I was surprised to see it was Addi. She climbed on top of the wall. It looked like she was aboit to jump. Not caring I jumped out of my car and ran to her. She looked back at me and went to jump. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her up. When her head hit the wall she went unconscious. Just in time before I dropped her another guy came over to help. We rushed her to the hospital. The man left after I thanked him.

She was finally awake and I could see her. With bruises on her head and cuts on her arms and legs I felt bad for her. Why did this have to happen to her. She didn't deserve any of it. Not looking up her eyes were glued to her phone. I spoke gently afraid I would hurt her.

"Hey Addi." She said nothing did nothing. While looking at her phone I saw a tear roll down her check. "Addi please talk to me." Still nothing. Then the nurse came in.

"Hello you must be Tyler" she shook my hand and sat down on the chair in the corner pulling it closer. "When she went to jump she hit her head on the wall which caused her to have a minor concussion. That means she won't be able to drive for the next week or so. Her legs and arms are pretty scratched up so I recommend thewy get washed once or twice a day. No medicine other than what is prescribed for headaches. That's pretty much it. You guys can leave when you have finished signing the release forms." She got up handed me a clipboard and left. Closing the door behind her. Addi took the clipboard from my hands and began filling it out. I texted Josh in the mean time.

Me: Hey where are you?

He replied shortly after.

Josh: Well Addison's mom kicked us out so I'm in a hotel.

I looked at Addi who was rushing to fill out the paperwork.

Me: What the hell happened?

Josh: We kissed, Stephanie saw told their mom that we had sex and then she came up stairs yelled at me to get out and then blamed all of it on Addison.

Me: Damn. Well Addi tried to kill herself so you didn't miss much.

Josh: WHAT!

Me: Yeah after you left she was on the bridge and I noticed her and saved her life.

Josh: This is all my fault where are you I need to talk to her.

Me: Good luck she won't even talk to the nurse. We are gonna head back in a little while when she is done filling out the papers.

Josh didn't answer. I assumed he was driving. What was he going to say? Was Addi going to speak. Was she going to run away and try to kill herself again? I was worried. We got to the car and she still hadn't said anything. After a while of driving I finally broke the silence.

"So um Josh is coming back to your house." Nothing she just kept staring at her phone. I looked over and saw she was texting someone. I couldn't quite see who it was. She was typing frantically getting as many letters on the screen like she needed to tell the person something. "Addi who are you talking to?" I grabbed her phone and read through the messages.

Grayson: Where are you I need to see you again?

Addison: Please just leave me alone. Josh isn't my boyfriend and he is gone so just leave me alone.

Grayson: Baby I can't you know I need you. Besides I know where you live if I ever need you.

Addison: Don't call me baby. Just please stay away from me.

Grayson: Now we both know what happens when I get angry I take it out on you my love. So I insist on you just telling me what time you will be home so we can have fun tonight.

Addison: Please just go away.

Grayson: Stop being such a self centered little bitch! Tell me when you get home I'll be waiting for you.

I handed her the phone back. "Addi who is this?" No response. "Addi please just talk to me." I didn't want to yell at her. She looked at me with worry in her eyes. The smallest sound came out of her throat. "H-help." With that she was crying. Her face turned pale and her eyes were blood shot.
