Savannah’s P.O.V
“Okay…what is she doing with him?!” I asked Nina
“I don’t know you tell me…she’s your cousin!” Nina half whispered to me
“Just because she’s my cousin that doesn’t mean I have to know every second of her life” I retorted
“Whatever! Look at her! OMG she’s flirting and she’s Prego!”
“So?” I looked at her, she is mental
“I’m just saying”
“Well be quiet because I thing their coming this way” I hissed at her, and indeed they were. When they reached the table you could almost see the tension between everybody especially between Sam and josh.
“soooooo?” I tried making conversation but nobody would move a muscle
“Hey Annie” Sam smiled at me
“It’s savannah to you!” josh sternly told him
“Okay? Hi savannah” Sam looked at me and smiled, but I just smiled back
“What are you guys doing here?” Nina asked them
“What do people do when they go to a restaurant? Doofus” Ashley scoffed and looked at josh then quickly looked back at Sam
“Excuse me?” Nina said she looked a bit irritated
“Umm so would you guys like to...sit with us?” when I said that everybody’s heads snapped to look at me. Nina was saying no with her eyes and josh just looked at me like I was stupid
“Umm sure?” Sam said
“Actually no were going to sit somewhere else, you know more private” Ashley said
“Ohh well umm have a nice dinner?”
“Oh we will” Ashley said looking at me, then smirking at everyone in the table. When they left everyone sighed in relief, but I knew what she was up to.
“Okay…Anne what was that for?!” Nina asked me
“Well I was being respectful, I mean come on you almost slapped Nina and josh over here was giving Sam the evil glare! I had to step in, to prevent a fight okay?” everyone nodded in agreement
We had eaten lunch and everyone seemed to have forgotten about Sam and Ashley because we all talked and laughed and had fun.
We were walking out of olive garden, walking out of the food court. Josh was holding my hand and everything had to be perfect right? I mean I have a best friend, a fiancée, I’m getting married in a week, I’m going to graduate in a few months, I have loving parents, a home… I have everything and yet something still seemed off…was I missing anything?
