The world seemed as if it was becoming darker and the sky has been crying for the past week. I shook my head and began to type an essay that was due in two days. I shook my head again and rubbed my eyes trying to stay awake. I took a deep sigh and stood up to get ready for school. It was another day without sleep.
I looked at my phone and saw no new messages, I was relieved that it looked like there was no issues. I pushed my glasses to my face and I left my room. I walked down the large staircase, passing the dining room and walked to the front entrance, seeing the limo. I waited for the chauffeur to open the door and when he did I entered the car. I pulled out my laptop and continued to work on my essay. I smiled to myself seeing it almost completed. We pulled up to Ouran and I was let out of the car. I pushed up my glasses, closed my laptop and began walking to the main entrance. I felt the spring wind pick up, I looked to my left and saw a black cat staring at me with a white dove on the branch of the cherry blossom tree right above it. I rose my eyebrow in confusion and shrugged to myself, not knowing what it meant.
I entered the school building and then a large force hit me on my back. My glasses fell onto the ground and I picked them up, knowing who it was.
"Tamaki what do you want?" I looked over at him, angry for hitting me. He started to shrink and turn white making one of his "corners."
"I was just happy to see you and to see that you were finally better! You have been looking so stressed and sad recently...." I stopped listening to him blabber and we both began to walk. We entered the room and yet again Hana's seat was empty. I shook my head, I put my stuff on my desk and I slid myself into my seat. I opened my laptop and began writing again, ignoring the already known subject.
The day passed slowly and the host club was the usual, besides the fact Kaoru was sad. After the host club finished, I packed up and walked to the limo. From school I went straight to the hospital and I walked to her room. I knocked on the door and it was silent until I heard a soft come in. I slowly cracked open the door and I saw her smile softly with Kaoru there looking over his shoulder. He sighs and stands up.
" I should get going, see you soon Hana." He kisses her cheek and walks past me, as he passes me the air grows thick. I walked in trying to get away from the tense feeling. I smile slightly and she smiles wider with her eyes closed.
"How are you feeling Ms. Suzuki?" She pouts and then flops backwards.
"I am doing well, listen Kyoya...May I ask you to do something for me?" She looks up at me.
"What is it?"
"Can you take me to the roof?" I looked at her and she sighed.
"May you take me to the roof?" I look at her as she had to ask that question again and I hesitantly nod. I slowly and gently pick her up, I was shocked of how light she is. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I started to walk up the stairs.
The roof was covered in sheets drying from being washed and there was one bench near the railing. I put Hana onto the bench, she smiled and the wind started to pick up. She smiled brightly and tried to catch the petals flying every where. Her laugh was like wind chimes and then suddenly she started to cough a whole lot, she leans forward looking as if she was choking on nothing. I ran up to her and pat her back, she pushed me away shaking her head. I knew I had to stand back, and so I did. She finally calmed down after ten minutes and she slowly lifted her head and she has a sweet little sincere smile on her face.
I looked at her, mentally asking why? She took a long look at me and smiled, knowing that she should give the answer.
"This Friday I have a..." That is when everything froze, the cherry blossom petals stopped falling and I held in my breath, I gripped the side of my shirt tightly. That is when time froze.
