Last night at around 10pm Shawn helped me carry Olivia and Isaac home from the roof. It was super sweet of him to stay. He was such a sweetheart.

I woke up 20minutes before me alarm so I decided to shower.
I grabbed my outfit today which consists off: black pants, a tank white top, a plain black hoodie & white vans.
As it was the start of May it was starting to come a bit warmer so I didn't have to bring a coat or anything.
Once I came out the shower I got dressed and brushed my teeth ect ect.
I then brushed my hair and tied it into a ponytail.
Then a did my usual make up routine and grabbed my things.
Before I headed downstairs I woke my mom up.
"I'm just going to leave for school, the twins are still asleep"
I whispered as she woke.
"Okay darling, have a good day."
She said as she sat up.
I started to walk up the room.
"Scarlett?"
I span round and raised an eyebrow at her.
"I'm sorry for last night"
She whispered, I smiled at her and headed downstairs.
Once I headed downstairs there was a nock on the door, I slowly walked over.
I had no clue who it would be.
I opened it and raised my eyebrow.
"Shawn? What you doing here?"
I asked I grabbed my things to leave. I shouted a quick bye and headed out.
"Am i not allowed to walk to school with my best friend?"
I blushed but looked the other direction so he couldn't see.
"Don't you go with Chloe?"
I asked as I put my phone in my back pocket.
"Is that a hint of jealousy love?"
I laughed at him.
"No love"
I said sarcastically.
"What's wrong with love?"
He asked furrowing his eyebrow.
"It's just weird don't call me that"
I said as a speed up the speed because we were walking like snails.
"Okay whatever you say love"
I playfully pushed him and laughed at him.
We were walking towards the gate in silence, not an awkward one a comfortable silence.
"Emma told me."
I turned and faced him.
"She told you what?"
I asked concerned.
"She told me about Chloe and why you don't like her"
I sighed dramatically, it wasn't her right to tell him that.
"It's horrible what she did you know"
I nodded reluctantly and forced a smile. Emma has some explaining to do.
"Don't be mad at Emma I begged her to tell me"
I sighed and nodded.
We were just about to walk into homeroom when Shawn grabbed my hand and intertwined it with his. I felt a spark of electricity fly through my body.
"Shawn? What?"
I said, I didn't want him to let go.
He gave me a look to say 'trust me' and we entered into homeroom.
All eyes were on us both. I looked down to our hands and tried to pull away but Shawn only tightened them more.
"Trust me"
He whispered into my ear, which sent shivers done my back.
I looked around to see Chloe walking towards us anger on her face.
I tried once more to get out off shawns grasp but he would allow it, he pulled my by his side. It made me blush a little.
"Hey babe, where were you this morning?"
She said while rubbing her hand against his arm, it made me cringe i could tell Shawn didn't like it either because he tensed up.
"Oh I just decided to walk with Scarlett"
He said trying to pull me away from her.
"And why would you do that? Have you seen her?"
She said while twirling her hair, I wanted to explode. I become really uptight so I tried once again to walk away but Shawn pulled me by his side.
"I have. I see a beautiful, kind, humble and caring girl but when I see you. I see the opposite"
I smiled but soon loads of people were saying "OHHH"
Shawn can be very sassy you know.
"oh you know I'm sorry I wasn't much use for you"
Shawn said as he got closer to her. I kinda tensed up a bit he must have felt because he started to walk away.
Chloe is going to murder me.
"So if you will leave me and my best friend alone from now on that will be good"
He said as he pulled me towards our group of friends.
We sat down and I sighed.
"Why'd you do that for?"
I said letting go of his hand. I thought I saw a flush of sadness across his face.
"She was horrible to you, do you think I would let her get away with it?"
He said as he placed his hand on my thigh, which sent another spark flying across my body, I looked at him and smiled.
"Just date already"
Mason blurted out and the others laughed. I completely forgot we weren't alone.
I blushed and so did Shawn.
That's when I realised I had a crush on Shawn Mendes.
How could I? He would never like me back like that, I mean just look at me.
