Sandra
I feel happy that we are together again. I am happy that they both believed me. Though Jeremy has memory loss he still chose to stick with me. And Zac, he somehow has doubts already about the organization. The only problem now is how to keep Melissa safe.
"So let's move then." I stand up to prepare. "We will use my secret path at the back of the house. Zac and Jeremy you use the black car. I programmed the navigator where we will meet. Please stay low." Both of them nod. "I will use my regular car and get Melissa....."
"Who is Melissa?" Zac cuts in. I just looked at him and did not answer. Knowing I don't want to further explain, he just shrugs his shoulders and continue preparing the things.
I open my lap top to fix the security system of the house before we will leave. I might not come back here again but I need the things down there for back up.
Zac looks at what I am doing and all the cameras around and inside the house.
"Whoa, genius at work. Really up to now Sandy you amaze me."
"It's in the blood my friend. It's in my blood."
I stand up when everything was done and check on the regular things at home. "You both have to go now ahead of me."
"We will see you then. Take care." Jeremy pat my shoulder. He busily tucked his guns inside his jacket.
"Call us if you need us, okay?" Zac kissed my cheek and ride on the passenger side.
I look at Jeremy who went to the driver side. "You driving?"
He grins and nods. "Need to refresh memory if it fails, Zac to the rescue."
"Yeah, I am enjoying this. Jeremy the great to be rescued by the mighty Zac. Not in my wild dreams." Zac starts annoying Jeremy and I just laugh.
Yeah just like old days.
I watched them go and monitor them through my phone. Everything is flowing smoothly so far. I finally activated the locks of my house. I learned these things from my father when I was young. Our houses used to be pretty wired up. I found it amusing at first only to conclude now that if you have it means your life is not at peace.
I look at the clock. Time to get Melissa now. I prepare my things, my weapons. I lock my house and headed in the car. I start my car and pause for a while in a silent prayer. May You guide me to the correct way. I hope my decisions are right. I step on the accelerator.
I sigh as I rung the bell on Tina's house. My heart is beating fast. I look around of something suspicious. So far so good. Tina opened the door with a smile. She's maybe two or three years older than me and she has been taking care of Melissa for five years now. I know she will feel sad if I tell her that we are leaving. Someday I will come back again.......I hope.
"Good morning." We kissed each other's cheeks. We had been friends for five long years. "She's ready?"
"Yeah she is." Tina headed upstairs to get Melissa.
"Mommy, mommy." My sweet young lady hug and jumped on me to carry her. She's growing fast and heavy. I showered her with kisses.
"Say bye to Tina baby. Kiss her." Melissa hug and kissed Tina. "Look Tina, we will be away in a while to visit a relative."
"Oh, I will miss this little munchkin then." She looked at Melissa adoringly and peppered her with kisses. I trust Tina with Melissa. I know she loves her but I have to go. I hug her tight as I feel it might be the last time I will see her.
