Chapter 26

Sandy

A loud knock woke me in my deep sleep.

I open the door revealing Madam Grace with worried face, "Sandy, pack your things. You must leave now the island with Melissa."

"What happened?" I followed her as she knocks on the door of Jeremy and Tina.

Jeremy and Tina opened their doors.

"Zaidan knows we are here. We must leave now." Madam Grace announced.

"Shit!"

"Hurry, meet me at the foyer. We will leave by helicopter, the others by boat. We can't all go together at the same time."

Shit! Now I put my daughter in trouble. I hurriedly went inside my room to fix things for Melissa. I quickly changed my clothes.

Jeremy came inside without knocking. He immediately carried Melissa who is peacefully sleeping.

Melissa slightly open her eyes and smiled when she saw Jeremy.

"We are going for a trip, honey. Let Daddy Jeremy carry you, okay?" he softly whispered and Melissa just nod and went back to sleep.

Tina came in the open door and signaled us to go.

We run to the Foyer where Madam Grace is waiting.

"We will travel by motor boat and transfer from one island to another. We will use the helicopter from another island to lose our tracts," she instructed.

I immediately open my phone as soon as we sat in the car. I hook it to the system of Madam Grace. She thinks she can hide things from me. Never.

Madam Grace ask us to join her in her small yacht. I see the others are already off the water with small yachts and speed boats.

We gathered together in a room.

"We will go to another island. This is my personal hide out. As much as I want everybody to be with me, not all can be trusted." Madam Grace explains.

"What about Zac? He is supposed to meet us in the island tomorrow." I asked

She sighs. "No news about him but according to my insider he was able to get out from the building just yesterday."

Shit!

"We must help him."

"Help ourselves first, Sandy, then we can help him." Jeremy reminded me while she carefully carries Melissa in his arms.

We travel the rough water almost in silence. Everybody is alert. We are all ready to fight.

Immediately we transfer to the helicopter on standby and after few hours we landed in a helipad of a big building.

Immediately we went inside the elevator leading to a secret hideout.
Suddenly I have an incoming call from Zac.
"Where are you? I had been trying to contact you," he speaking fast and he sounds nervous. He did not even wait for me to say hello.

"Zac!" I almost shouted. Jeremy and Madam Grace look at me with anticipation.

"Are you okay? We are at......" I look at Madam Grace to supply me the answer but she shook her head. It might be a trap.

"We are not anymore in the meeting place." I gave him a hint.

I put the phone on speaker. "Sweetheart, if you are in the shower, finish now because I am on my way. Sorry, I have company. I can't make love to you." He said those words seductively with emphasis on shower and company and he ended the call.
