"So boys. How's the baby doing?" Our interviewer, George, asked not five minutes into our first interview in Germany. It had been almost two months since the E!News thing and although they'd let go of the idea that my pregnancy was fake, they still hadn't stopped with the story. It seemed like every other day there was an update on how we were doing.
"Pretty good. I'm finally over the morning sickness." I laughed, rubbing my slightly swollen stomach and smiling up at Liam, who rapped his arm around my shoulders lightly.
"And he's really starting to show." Louis added, making me blush. I'd started to show about a month ago so I'd been wearing baggy t-shirts and lose jeans to cover it up. I should have known that was completely useless with Louis and his big mouth around.
"Yeah? Wanna show us?" George asked jokingly, laughing lightly as he leaned forward a bit. I was about to tell him no, when Louis stood up, took my hands and made me stand up too. He then lifted my t-shirt to just above my small bump and stood back so it could be seen, as I blushed a deep crimson.
"Louis! You know Niall's not comfortable with that." Liam scolded with a sigh, pulling me down so I was half sitting on his lap and resting his hand on my stomach; rubbing it lightly.
"Sorry. I just think it's so cute. I really can't wait to see your next ultrasound." Louis explained, laughing lightly and poking my stomach which made me giggle.
"When is your next ultrasound then?" George asked, finally coming back into the conversation and reminding us we were in an interview not having a conversation at home.
"It's tomorrow actually. We'll get to know the gender too." Liam explained, smiling down at me and continuing to rub little circles and patterns into my stomach.
"And are you excited about that?" George asked with a smile, sitting up a bit straighter and glancing down at my stomach quickly.
"Definitely. We'll start thinking of names when we know the gender, so that should be interesting." Liam smiled, making the little studio audience coo and aw.
"Have you thought about names at all yet, or are ye waiting to know the gender first?"
"Well, we were thinking John or Patrick for a boy and maybe Lily or Ann for a girl, but we're not really sure." Liam explained quietly. We hadn't really discussed names in great detail yet, but we both agreed it would be best to leave the bulk of the naming discussion for when we knew what the baby was going to be.
"So has touring been hard on you?"
"No, not really. A lot of the time, I get really tired after the concerts and sometimes even during, but other than that it hasn't been too bad. I'm lucky; I don't really get headaches like some people do." I explained quietly; leaving out the fact that my hands sometimes went numb, which made it hard to play guitar and I got aches in my limbs a lot.
"Well that's good...... And have you gotten any mood swings yet?"
"Not really.....I just-" I started to explained, but Louis cut me off before I could say much.
"He cries over the weirdest shit; it's not even funny." He exclaimed, flashing me a squint-y eyed grin and laughing at me when I blushed again. It seemed like all I was doing in this interview was blushing.
"Not anymore! That was just in the first trimester; I've mostly gotten over the mood swings now." I grumbled, crossing my arms over my chest with a huff.
After that he asked us about how the tour was going and what we were doing about the next album, which I tuned out of a bit. I never really gave input on anything like that, so I'd learned to use selective hearing in these. Before long the interview had finished and we had some time to ourselves, during which Liam cooed to my stomach for far too long, before we had to go rehearse for the concert tonight.
