First Movement (Finally)

Twenty weeks. That's how far along I was. Twenty weeks: which boiled down to five months, give or take, and yet the baby still hadn't moved. I was starting to get worried now, because ordinarily, the baby would start moving at eighteen weeks. I was uncertain, at best, about whether my body would actually be able to support a baby full term, even with the hormonal drug I was still taking, so this kind of thing got me anxious for our little girl's health. No matter how often the doctor's reassured us everything was alright, I'd continue to be worried until I felt Lily Ann's movement.

"Ni; stop worrying. The doctor said everything's fine at your twenty week scan. He's a professional; he knows what he's talking about." Liam reassured quietly; rapping his arms around my waist as we took a break from practicing for the next show. We were now in Norway and our first concert here would be tomorrow as today was a kind of rest day; made up of mostly travel and some practise.

We weren't really doing as much practicing now, because I wasn't able for long practices as well as the concerts on the same day anymore, meaning rest days weren't so much rest days, as less active days. We still got plenty of time to ourselves, especially since we didn't do as much the morning before a concert, but now we weren't taking full days off unless there was a lot of traveling to do.

It also became a thing to put a chair or two somewhere on stage during concerts, so if I got tired I could sit down without all the effort of sitting on the edge of the raised part of the stage. It was embarrassing when I needed help up from that and the chairs were slightly higher, so it wasn't as much of a task.

"I know, I know. But what if something is wrong? Something they can't see in the scans?" I asked worriedly, resting my hands on my stomach when Liam pulled away to look at me; laying his hands on my hips as he did.

"Ni, everything's fine. I'm sure of it. This kind of thing can happen in a normal pregnancy too. You just have to believe it'll be OK and stay healthy." Liam reasoned, rubbing circles into my hips with his thumbs and smiling reassuringly.

"But-" I started to argue, but I was quickly cut off by Liam, who pressed his lips to mine in a sweet kiss.

"Sh......Don't worry. I'm sure she'll start moving soon." Liam whispered; his warm breath fanning across my face as he pressed his forehead to mine and rested his hand just under mine on my stomach.

"Fine. I'll give it two more days. After that; there is absolutely nothing you can say or do that will make me stop worrying." I murmured stubbornly, glancing down at Liam's mouth and giggling when he did the same to me. Pulling me closer by my hips before rapping his arms around my waist, Liam kissed me again: more forcefully this time, which made me giggle.

"Hey. You guys ready to get back or do you need a minute?" Harry asked from behind me, and when I pulled away from Liam to look over my shoulder at him, I saw he was smirking at us.

"Actually, I think we could do with another minute." I laughed, turning back to Liam, who hummed lightly as he watched me, before he reconnected our lips and poked his tongue out to lick my lip; making me giggle again, which gave him the opportunity to prod my tongue with his. I heard Harry leave again, but I didn't really care, so I continued to kiss Liam until Louis came to get us because he got bored of waiting around.

That night was the first night I'd had in weeks that I actually managed to sleep the whole night through, before waking up the next morning feeling refreshed and happy and that night I was actually able to stay standing for a good portion of the concert

"Oh." I gasped quietly as my hand flew to my stomach. Because my pregnancy was really showing now, Lou had tried to hide it with a baggy tank top but it was still very obvious.
