A/N Hey guys so here's the latest chapter, sorry it took a little while again but I had a lot on on the weekend so I didn't get a chance to finish it before today.

Let me know what you think :)

Chapter 27

We were still up in the attic when Aaron came and got us, saying that it was all safe. The town had been attack by men with a W carved into their foreheads.

We walked through the front door and that's when I saw the damage of what this attack had done. People I knew were lying bloody on the streets. A funny sort of smell hit me and I bend over and threw up what little I had in my stomach all over the bushes.

"You're ok," Aaron spoke as he rubbed circles on my back.

I took a deep breath and stood up straight, that was it, I have had it with people attacking us, trying to take what is ours. I started to walk towards the front gate.

"Charlie where are you going?" Eric asked following me.

"To the front gate," I spoke as I continued walking. When I reached the front gate I saw Deanna up on the watch point and Michonne talking to Maggie and Rosita. Deanna was looking across the community, trying to figure out what's left I suppose.

"Open the gate!" I heard someone yell all of the sudden, "Open the gate, now!"

It sounded like Rick, I ran to the gate and opened the screen, and there he was running towards the gate with what looked like hundreds of walkers behind him. I opened the gate as fast as I could and Michonne and Maggie appeared beside me. The minute Rick was through Michonne slammed the gate shut as quickly as she could and locked it back up. We closed the screen and everyone wore the same look, the 'we are screwed' look.

"Everyone check the fences, make sure there are no gaps or weak points," Rick ordered as he started following the fence.

I looked at Maggie and she looked about as terrified as I was. I was frozen I couldn't move. Aaron and Eric soon joined my side.

"No matter what you stick with us," Aaron spoke.

"Where's Daryl?" I asked, I saw Rick approach us, so I ran over to him, "Rick is Daryl ok?"

"Yeah," he nodded, "He, Sasha and Abraham are still leading half of them away.

"Thank god," I replied as I turned to walk back to the men, they gave me a look so I shot them a small smile so they knew too.

"You can hear it," Rick spoke as he reached the middle of the mass that had built up in front of the gate, "Some of you saw it. They got back here, half of them. Still enough to surround us 20 deep. Look, I know you're scared. You haven't seen anything like this. You haven't been through anything like this. But we're safe for now. The panel the truck hit seems intact. We reinforced it just in case. Either way, the wall's gonna hold together. Can you? The others, they're gonna be back."

"They're gonna be back," Rosita nodded.

"Daryl, Abraham, Sasha, they have vehicles," Rick started again, "They're gonna lead 'em away, just like the others. And Glenn and Nicholas are gonna walk back through the front gate after. They know what they're doing, and we know what we need to do. We keep noise to a minimum. Pull our blinds at night. Even better, keep the lights out. We'll try to make this place as quiet as a graveyard, see if they move on."

"This place is a graveyard," one of the Alexandria chicks spoke.

The banging and growling continued in the background.
