Georgia used to be a place I called home, i lived in Macon until I was 16 I got a bad reputation so
I left behind everything, my family,my friends and my education and my first love.I found a new home eventually, my new home was Alabama I lived above a motorcycle shop with a man who I now call Uncle Ozzy.
"Samantha!" Ozzy called from upstairs.
"Yes how may I help you?" I smiled reaching the top of the stairs.
"You be safe okay? You need anything you call me you got that?" He said pointing his finger at me,
"Oz how many times do I gotta say I'm a big girl, but thank you."
"I'll miss you kiddo." He smiled but you could tell he was sad I was going.
"I'm going to miss you to Ozzy, I love you."
I wrapped my arms around his waist and embraced the hug, Ozzy was family I'd lived with him since I was 16 working in his shop and fixing up what ever vehicle came in mostly motorcycles though, although I call him uncle Ozzy he's more like my father he basically raised me into a women, you see he lost his wife to cancer the year I came along and he always wanted a daughter and he believed I came along to fill that hole his wife left and now I feel like I'm tearing it open again.
"Promise me you'll come down to visit."
"Kiddo I don't know what I'm going to do without yah." He smiled ruffling my hair as we released for the hug.
"You've been like a father to me, I'm thankful I really am."
"Better not go replacing me." He chuckled.
"Never."
"You say hello to your folks for me?" He said handing my the last box of my stuff.
I nodded and took the box from him and headed down stairs with him following behind me, I put the last box in the passengers seat of my 1973 Ford T 259 white and light minty green and my motorcycle was strapped up in the back along with the other boxes I already had a van taking my furniture down to Georgia for me as I didn't have the space.
This was going to be a long drive 4 hours and 55 minutes to get from Alabama to Georgia, I guess your asking why move back? I just thought it was time to face my demons I mean my parents weren't getting along at the time and I was a high school drop out because I couldn't cope, I drank a lot of alcohol and started to get a bad reputation I'd break into stores and steal but all with the help of the towns bad boy Merle Dixon I wonder where he is now, most likely prison.
"Call me when you get there make sure your safe kiddo." Ozzy smiled kissing my forehead.
"I will call you every single day is that good enough for you?"
"That's brilliant kiddo, just don't forget about me alright."
And with that I got Into my truck put the key into the ignition and started the truck, Ozzy stood there with a smile but sadness lingering in his eyes I felt bad for leaving but I needed to do this.
4 hours Later in Macon,Georgia.
I finally rolled into town and its still the same but then again different I decided to pull into a car park and call Ozzy I got to Macon okay and that I'm safe but that all stops when I see the exact same truck as mine but in blue and a tall dirty redneck step out...Daryl?
My heart jumps into my throat and I'm frozen on the spot, that's actually Daryl Dixon my Georgia crush he'd defiantly got better looking, dirty tanned skin and muddy blonde maybe a hint of brown hair, him slamming his truck door made me jump and knocked me to my senses, but I still didn't know what to do.
