Not spell/ grammar checked.

That word hit me like a ton of bricks no Dixon has ever said they felt hurt, especially Daryl he's always been living in the shadow of Merle and being embarrassed of what reputation his family were giving Daryl's not like them he's sweet and prone to being mislead because instead of fighting with Merle and seeing him leave he agreed just so he had someone and I hate to think its because of me.

"I'm here now and I ain't leaving you this time." I said leaning my head on his shoulder.

"Good not like I'm gonna let you leave anyways."

"I'll fight my way out." I giggled pretending to punch his chest,

"You won't stand a chance." He said grabbing my wrists.

"I'd whoop your redneck ass."

"One punch." He smiled softly,

"Fine."

I slowly pulled my arm back and clenched my fist as hard as I could and threw the punch, he stumbled a little and rubbed his chest where I just hit him which instantly made me feel bad.

"Sorry didn't think it'd hurt you." I smirked playfully.

"Nah your alright got a good punch ain't no need to worry bout you taking on somebody." He smiled.

"Well I better get you a sheet and a pillow huh?"

He just nodded and sat back down on the couch I quickly ran upstairs to my bedroom to get the spare sheet and pillow I had in my cupboard and then headed back down to Daryl who was already looking in my refrigerator

"If yah hungry I can make you something."

"Nah it's alright." He said closing the refrigerator.

"Clean sheets and a pillow." I said handing them to him.

"Thanks."

"I best get some sleep got work tomorrow." I smiled standing at the bottom of the stairs.

"Night Sam."

"Night Dare."

I laid in bed not able to sleep I mean he was downstairs topless and my thoughts of him were running wild and these thoughts weren't all good.

I sighed and got out of bed and slowly and quietly went downstairs, I found Daryl sitting on the couch with his head in his hands, his shoulder and arm muscles were really defined, I made my way over to him and he didn't move, I smiled a little at this and went to sit on the arm of the couch and I found myself with my arms all over him.

"I can't sleep." He mumbled.

"You still get nightmares?" I said gently kissing his shoulder.

"Yeah." He said reluctantly,

"It's okay Dare."

He sat up and looked directly into my eyes, he'd been crying I hadn't seen him cry since his mother died, I reached my hand out and gently touched his face, he's blue Georgia eyes were now glassy and red from crying, I smiled at him and wiped away any stray tears.

"I ain't a baby."

"I know I just care."

"Sorry."

"I couldn't sleep either."

"Why?"

"Knowing you were down here topless." I giggled.

"You ain't changed a bit." He chuckled.

"Your a little more stubborn than I remember, but apart from that your still my Dare."

"Your Dare? You own me now?" He smirked,

"Well I don't but you know what I mean."

He gently pulled me onto his lap and looked at me, he was gazing, them beautiful Georgia blues that I adored so much, I smiled a little and rubbed my thumb over his cheek.

"I've always been yours Sam." He sighed hanging his head.

"I love you Daryl, I really mean that."

"Yah don't deserve someone like me, you don't need no dixon."

"I don't care what I need it's what I want."
