Sorry for any mistakes
From then on everything was going good for us obviously Daryl was working hard and I even found a more suitable job to do at the auto shop that daryl approved I became the receptionist.
I sit at this stupid desk waiting for customers ,sometimes I wonder how this auto shop gets any work the only good thing about being on this desk job is I'm not working my ass off as I'm getting run down a lot quicker and I get to see Daryl.
"Sam!" Daryl called.
I sighed and popped off the stool making my way round to the back where all the guys were working, I see Daryl with his blue overalls tied around his waste and weird look on his face.
"Can I help?" I asked putting my hands on my hips.
"God you push your bump out anymore you gonna hit us with it." Floyd teased.
"Yeah yeah whatever, Daryl?"
"I uh need you to call the owner of this truck, it's got a lot of problems on it they gonna have to pay a lot more." He said hesitating.
"What's wrong?"
"Ain't nothing I gotta get back to this."
I headed back to my desk it was like being imprisoned but we needed money I was determined to give this kid a good life. Ever since my bump became visible Daryl acts weird I'm not sure if it's good or bad thing.
"Hi Mr Fox? This is Sam from Bruce's auto shop."
"Oh hello is my pick up done?"
"Not quite there's been a few problems theres a lot more work that needs doing and without its not road safe."
"So I'm gonna have to lay out more money? This is a scam!" He yelled down the phone.
"Sir please calm down our men are the finest mechanics they know what there doing I assure you."
"I want to talk to the mechanic working on my truck!"
"He's busy if you come to the shop..." I said as he hung up on me. "Why are men so complicated baby Dixon?" I sighed rubbing my bump.
"You alright?" Daryl said snaking his hands around my waist
"Mr Fox just yelling down the phone, he's gonna pay you a visit."
"He's just a cranky old man Sam, wanna go for lunch?"
I looked at my bump and sighed , "Yeah better feed this little monster."
"You don't wanna go do yah?" He sighed pulled away from me.
"I do dare I'm just tired." I said turned to face him.
"I got daisy to make us something so we can go were ever just us."
I smiled, it isn't like Daryl to do something like this but it's started to become his thing which is sweet, We headed out into the woodland near his house and we finally settled in an open field, he let the tailgate down and pulled out a picnic basket and had a cute smile on his face.
"Thank you for doing this Dare." I smiled jumping up on the tail gate.
"Ain't a problem Sam."
Everything was so perfect, we sat in the bed of his truck enjoying our lunch making small conversation but it was mostly just us enjoying each other company.
"Dare gimme your hand!" I smiled rubbing my tummy.
"What's wrong?" He said putting his hand in mine.
I guided his hand to the spot I could feel the baby moving, at first he flinched but then relaxed into it I actually think he enjoyed being able to feel our baby move.
