Not spell checked,,,

Merle stumbled to a guys truck who I guessed was gonna give him a ride back whilst Daryl stood leaning up against his truck covered in dirt and blood looking down at the ground trying to catch his breath,

"You okay?" I sighed wiping my busted lip.

"Only you could pick a fight with Merle." He said chuckling a little.

"Least he deserved."

"You'd a been beaten to a pulp it I ain't of been here you know that?"

"I ain't as weak as I look Dixon."

"You defiantly ain't changed." He said spitting on the ground.

"Apart from I ain't sixteen and I drink in moderation then yeah still Sam." I smiled.

"I'm glad to see a smile on that face of yours."

"Im glad to actually see you've acknowledged me."

"Yeah well it ain't been easy." He mumbled barely audible

"Sure."

He just spat up some more blood and then finally stood to his full heigh, his face was pretty bruised but I think Merle got worse off, Daryl's Georgia blue eyes glowed in the moonlight which nearly made me faint.

"C'mon let's get you cleaned up." I said taking my keys out of my pocket.

"Ain't you been drinking?"

"One beer ain't exactly gonna make me crash a car now is it?" I smiled,

"Sorry forget you ain't a light weight." He smirked.

"Damn right Dixon."

We headed over to my truck, as Daryl had been drinking and I hadn't exactly had enough alcohol to be over the limit I offered to drive and I don't exactly think he will go home tonight so the least I could do would be to give him a place to stay he night.

"Nice place." Daryl said walking around my empty house,

"Ain't nothing special just a roof over my head,"

"Had to be close to the woods though?" He smirked, he knew I loved the woods.

"You know I love the woods." I smiled running some warm water into a bowl.

"You hunt still?"

I nodded whilst grabbing some antiseptic wipes from my first aid kit and then some cotton wool to clean his face up with, Daryl sat down at the table whilst I sat just in front of him and started dabbing at his face cleaning the blood.

"Why'd you start a fight?"

"He slapped you."

"Didn't mean you had to beat the shit out of each other."

He didn't say a word he just played with his fingers and waited for me to finished cleaning his face and after I cleaned the blood away I cleaned it again with the antiseptic wipes to make sure no infection would set in after all he does work on vehicles

"I guess I better get home." He sighed.

"You ain't going no where, one your way over the limit and two your already here."

"Sleepover then?" He chuckled,

"Yeah I guess."

I emptied the bowl and joined Daryl on the couch, he was taking his boots and shirt off revealing his bare chest which was better than I had remembered slight hair and not tone but he was in shape and them arms oh my god.

"What you staring at?"

"Nothing." I blushed,

"Ain't nothing changed." He smirked brushing his chest down.

I turned away and looked in the mirror tying my hair up and looking at myself but mostly him and I didn't realise I was biting my lip, I was just wearing a vest top and some really short shorts so I could feel Daryl's eyes all over me,

"You know you ain't half bad yourself."

"Yeah well Dixons don't need women remember?" I sighed turning back around to see him topless again,

"Merle said that not me, I've always needed you." He mumbled.

"Nice try." I giggled,

"It's the truth." He said looking over at me.

"What's the truth? C'mon be a man and tell me your true feelings." I said walking over and standing in front of him.

"You already know why make me say it?"

"I want to hear them words come outta your mouth again."

"Really gonna make me do that?" He mumbled,

"Yeah I wanna hear a Dixon confess their feelings."

"Yah always been special to me, but I hated you for leaving, leaving me." He mumbled hanging his head,

"Trust me I never wanted to leave you, not in a million years but I had to."

"Coulda ask me to come with you! Coulda got me outta that shit hole." He spat.

"Daryl don't be..."

"Don't be what? Mad? Nah I ain't mad I'm hurt."
