I didn't give myself time to watch her turn her back and walk into the diner, I couldn't explain my actions but everything about Sam drives me crazy, when I got her I don't know what to do and with out her I feel empty.

"Hey baby brother." Merle smirked approaching my truck as I pulled up to our house.

"So was she good? Everything you imagined."

"Just drop it Merle, I ain't got nothing to share."

"You left her hanging didn't yah? Boy Didn't you learn from your big brother? Yah never leave a good woman."

"Shut up Merle." I growled stepping out of my truck.

"She's a no good slut anyways, she'll come running Darylina don't you worry." He sniggered patting my back.

"Whatever."

I slumped into the dirty couch kicking off my boots and just stared at the small TV, I ignored every comment Merle dished out at me I was too busy trying to figure out how to get Sam to forgive me I didn't mean to give off that impression.

Sam's P.O.V

I watched as the clocked ticked back and forth which only told me the batteries were dying, I picked up the cloth I was cleaning with and headed into the kitchen where Daisy and the rest of the staff were hiding out.

"So you and Dixon?" Daisy smirked.

"What about it?"

"This morning, it seemed pretty serious."

"It weren't nothing but a mistake, my fault really." I sighed throwing the dirty cloth into the sink.

"Aw girl that ain't no mistake, I can see it in you there's defiantly something." Abbie another waitress said chewing gum.

"Well it ain't nothing now, can I get off early seeming there ain't no one around?" I asked daisy,

"I don't see why not just don't bring your problems to work I don't want no Dixon kicking off in here."

I took a sigh of relief and headed into the back where my stuff was hanging up, I headed out the back exit hoping to catch Dean I knew if there were any jobs going he'd be able to hook me up.

"Hey Sam." Dean smiled closing the tail gate on his truck.

"Hey, you alright?"

"Not bad, just finishing up loading these parts."

"I've been meaning to ask, is there any jobs going yet?"

He looked back at the shop and then to me, "Yeah we do, but you gonna have to talk to the boss."

"Can I do that now? I'm trying to do anything to get out of wearing this outfit." I smirked pointing to to my dress.

"Hm follow me."

I readjusted my bag in my shoulder and followed Dean into the auto shop,we entered an office and there sat a guy who I guessed was the boss, he looked me up and down and a smirk came across him face.

"What can I do for yah darling?"

"I was wondering if any jobs were going? I worked in a motorcycle shop since I was 16 so working in this industry is pretty much all I know."

"Hm I have a place for yah, I do get a good amount of motorcycles in and Floyd does need some extra hands."

"That sounds great when can I start?"

"Tomorrow? But the rules are don't be bringing your problems to work I saw you out there with Dixon this morning and second I didn't ask you name?"

"Sam, Sam Daley."

"Ah Chester and Cherries Girl?"

"Yes sir."

"Well welcome aboard, I will give you more information on pay and shifts tomorrow and for now unless you have your own overalls will have to borrow some until I get you a pair with your name on."

"Thank you." I smiled.

"Yeah no problem shut the door behind you."

I followed Dean back outside and we kind of exchanged stares and then went on our way, I returned my work uniform and quit my job at the diner after I'd gone home an changed and then headed to the local bar minding my own.
