A Very Messed Up Glee Fanfiction

I liked being in Glee Club. There was even Nicola in it. She was my absolute best friend.

There was something there though. I knew I liked her, but I doubted she liked me as anything other than a friend. After all, she was super gorgeous, but why in the world would she like me? All I was, was a foreign exchanged student. I wasn't even that important. Sure, I was in the Glee Club, and I even got a solo at Sectionals, but it wasn't like I was important to Glee Club. I was just a lonely Irish lad who couldn't get the girl I liked.

"Hey, Rory," Nicola said, smiling at me.

"Hey, Nico," I said, giving her a hug. She smelt fruity. It w"as quite beautiful, her smell. I liked it a whole lot.

"How have you been?" she asked me.

"Not bad," I replied.

"I was wondering if you wanted to sing a duet with me in Glee," Nicola asked me.

"What song?"

"More Than This by One Direction."

I knew that look. Nico had something up her sleeve. I just wasn't exactly sure what it was.

"Sure," I said, smiling.

"Good," she replied back. She captivated me so much. I don't know, I just loved her. She was perfection. I couldn't believe she came from the same genes that gave birth to Puck.

Later in Glee Club, Mr. Schue smiled, and announced, "Everyone, Rory and Nicola would like to sing a song."

Nicola and I stood up in front of the Glee Club, and began to sing our song.

[Nicola]

When they finished singing, Nicola turned to me, and said, "Rory Flanagan, will you do me the honor, and go on a date with me?"

I couldn't believe my luck! Nicola was asking me out. Me. I wasn't even that special. I just happened to be an Irish lad in love with my closest friend here. And now I knew she was in love with me.

"Yes," I replied, smiling. "Yes, Nico, I would love to go on a date with you."
