Adeline began to grow nervous, it had been almost ten minutes which meant Emerald would be coming back to her table soon with her order. She didn't know what to say, how to act, or what to do. She was so stricken by something so beautiful, that she began to actually care more than she was used to. She had this feeling in the pit of her stomach that made her feel completely uncomfortable, it was like a tingly feeling inside of her.

"What the Hell? Are those....butterflies?" Adeline muttered this to herself in such a bewildered tone.

It had been years since Adeline experienced butterflies, so she didn't exactly know what it was. Adeline was contemplating what to do when Emerald came back , though she couldn't really think of anything, her mind just went blank. At that point, Adeline decided to just leave before making a fool of herself.

As Adeline got up to leave, she walked straight into Emerald, who coincidentally, was approaching her table at the same time. Though Adeline hadn't noticed because she was in such a rush to leave, as a result she nearly knocked over Emerald.

"Whoa, slow your roll Speedy. I hope you're not going anywhere before you sit and have your food. Also, please be careful with where you're going, you nearly made me spill HOT chocolate on myself. That stuff burns you know." Emerald said these words so lightly and so humorously, that Adeline couldn't help but to begin to blush.

"Sit Addie. I know you don't eat a lot, which is why you're going to sit and eat your food. You're body looks like it's screaming to be fed."

Upon hearing this, Adeline suddenly realized that she's right about that, she doesn't eat a lot, but this time Adeline wasn't hungry. If anything she was nervous and wanted to get out of there, but instead she sat down anyway not wanting to disobey Emerald.

"Good, now here's your drink and muffin. I'll be over there taking more orders, let me know if you need anything else Addie."

Adeline silently nodded her head and watched Emerald walk away with elegance and grace to her stride. As Adeline watched Emerald leave, it dawned on her that Emerald had called her Addie, twice. Realizing this, she began to wonder how many times had Emerald called her that before and when/how she got this nickname. Though instead of pondering over the details of the name, she just acknowledged the face that she was even given a nickname.

"Addie..." Adeline repeated the nickname to herself enjoying the fact that she even had such a special nickname. No one had ever called her this before, thus enjoying the fact that it was Emerald's nickname for her. Feeling satisfied with this thought, Adeline sipped her drink and sat in silence, lost in her thoughts with nothing but a smile on her face.
