Emerald
"Bye Adeline get home safe."
"I will bye Emerald." she responded with a soft smile.
Emerald.
Emerald.
Emerald!
Suddenly I snapped out of memories as my boss called out to me.
"This isn't Dream Land kiddo, we have customers."
"Got it! I'll get back to work immediately." I responded as I hustled to assist my customers, though I was still stuck in my thoughts.
It's been almost a week since that night with Adeline, where was she? She hasn't been to the coffee shop or anywhere in the area. I hope she's okay, I miss her.

How can she not reach out me after such an intimate moment that we shared? Should I go to her apartment? No I can't do that, maybe she doesn't want to see me? Is she mad at me?
*Laughter in the distance*
"That laugh it sounds like Adeline's laugh, is she here?"
I looked around but it seems it was only the children in the grass laughing... Adeline's laugh. Oh how I miss her sweet laugh...
