The Blabber Mouth

Wow, the today was actually a lot more fun than I expected. When I first saw Emerald come from around the tree I was completely shocked, also at the same time scared; but then she started talking and I couldn't help but soften up a bit. Then she started singing and oh gosh she was making me melt in my shoes. At some point she looked like she realized how much she was talking and decided to leave, but I didn't want her to leave and without realizing it I invited her to sit with me. As soon as I did I regretted it, I thought she was going to reject me, but then she agreed and it made me really happy but I think I downplayed it well enough.

Next thing I know she was sitting next me talking on and on about things that she enjoys and what not. Occasionally we spoke about me, but mostly about her which I didn't mind, I loved watching her talk. Only thing was, by hanging out with her my like for just started to increase, but by how much she seemed to enjoy herself I think she might've started to like me too. Maybe I should make my move soon.

Emerald

I got home and set my purse and keys down on the table, as much fun as I had today I was exhausted. I fell into sofa and relax there. It wasn't long until my Husky dog ran over and jumped across my lap, he could tell I was tired so instead of licking my face as usual he just laid across my lap.

"Hey Fish, you miss me?" to respond he nudged his hand under my hand for a pet which basically meant yes.

"Yeah, I missed you too bud."

*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*

"Ugh, who could be harassing me now. Hello?"

"Emerald hi, it's Clover Colton, the Divorce lawyer?"

"Ah, yes hi, what do you need?"

"Sorry to be calling this late at night, but there was an issue with the paper work. It says here, that reason you're divorcing is because you were emotionally abused and cheated on, but my sources tell me that's not the complete story that there was a mishap when I was being given a final printing of what happened, do you-"

At this point I was tired so I cut her off "Clover, listen I'm really tired how about I just come down to the court house tomorrow morning and we'll settle things then. Today's visit alone was enough to drain me physically and emotionally. Could we please do this tomorrow?"

"Yes Emerald, yea I'm sorry for bothering you."

"It's ok Clover, you were just doing your job. Thank you, have a good night."

"You too." After saying this she hung up. I threw my phone across the sofa determined not to answer it for the rest of the night. Seeing was I did, Fish picked his head up and looked at me,

"Tonight its just gonna be you and me bud. What do you say you let me wash up and then we'll put on a movie eh?" With this, Fish got off my lap and I was so grateful he understood me. I always knew animals understood what you were saying.

After getting off the sofa, I plugged my phone up to be charged, got some clothes from my room, and went into the bathroom to take a shower. It was no more than 20 minutes that I was in the shower, when I got out I out on a black tank top, some underwear, and black and white pajama pants. I went to my room, laid in my queen sized bed, with Fish following in close behind and laying next to me. Turning on the tv me and Fish watched a Supernatural rerun until I fell asleep. There was one character in this show I had a huge crush and it was nice to see their face before I fell asleep.
