Her smile and eyes were the only things I could focus on as we talked. Her sky blue eyes kept me in a trance, I couldn't even hear what she was talking about. That is until Sonya stopped walking.

"Viper? Hello? Are you awake?" I blinked a few times and looked around. We've already made it to the school, but it felt just like a few seconds ago that the both of us were in the streets. Sonya grinned at my confusion and patted my shoulder, walking past me.

"Let's head inside. I'm sure that the courtyard will end up being filled within minutes" The both of us went into the empty courtyard.

"No one is here?"

"Most will be in the cafeteria or just the gym. Nobody usually would be out here since it's just plain boring"

"Then why am I out here?" She circled around me, staring at me from my shoe to my face. "I'm just taking a closer look at you. There were some things that I didn't get to see earlier" Sonya stopped in front of me and smiled.

"So just checking me out?" I joked, but she grinned. "Maybe I was"

A crimson blush erupted on my face. "Hey hey, it's just a joke" Sonya didn't seem to care and grabbed my arm.
"Then you make weird jokes, Viper"

A nervous tension began to rise in the courtyard. Her grip was tight and strong, making it nearly impossible to escape. "You know, you have an odd round area in your chest for a male, Viper." Her hands were placed onto my stomach and made their ways up. "Are you working out or just sucking it up?" Her eyes were planted on me. There wasn't a moment where she would look away.

"Come on, Sonya. You don't have to do this.." I used my other hand to move away hers. "I'm just a little more built on the top"
She didn't keep that satisfied look. "Really? You really seem defensive about it."

"Viper!" A cheerful voice ran towards the both of us. Sonya started to eye the girl.
"Who is she?"

I turned around, noticing that Alice was right in front of me. She kept a warm smile then looked at Sonya. "And who is she?"

I felt trapped at this point. Two girls between me had no idea who the other one was. They eyed each other than looked back at me. "You know her?" They spoke in unison.

"Well yes," I glanced at the two. "Sonya meet Alice. Alice meet Sonya." I introduced.
The two seemed to look distasteful at each other then looked back up at me.

"Viper, you don't mind if we hang out in the gym, right? It's much more fun!" Alice held my hand, tugging me gently.
"Well--"
"I'm already busy with Viper, so you can run along." Sonya stood in between us. "Viper has already agreed with me that we would get to know each other a little better, so it's best if you be with your other friends for the time being."

Alice's grip on my hand loosened then she let go. "Yeah, alright. I'll just have to talk to someone else then" she rubbed the back of her neck. "I'll be back though!" She turned away to run. "I'll meet up with you in gym, Viper!" Alice then disappeared in the school.

Sonya had a sigh of relief then went over to the bench. She leaned back with her eyes closed. The brunette was in a thought then opened her eyes, turning to me.
"Are you just going to stand there?" Her hand patted the bench, giving me a sign to sit next to her. Stumbling for a second, I quickly sat next to her.

It was an awkward minute until she spoke up. "How has school treated you so far?"
It was a normal question, good thing. "Well decent," I replied bland. "There isn't much that this school can offer, plus the students suck."
"Even that Alice girl?"
"Not her, really."
"What about me?"
"Same with you. You aren't really that bad either."
