Silence is always what keeps my mind calm. Day after day, the peace and quiet is what silences the monster inside of me and hell it is worth it. It is best to hide away the true monster I am and live among the ones who rule this world now.

To my surprise, Ryan allowed me to leave the organization for school. Unfortunately for me, he told me that there would be a spy watching over me while I work. He didn't tell me who it would be, but they would be watching over me very closely without me knowing. It could be anyone, and it would probably not be fun if I get into some conflict. Though if I did, I wonder what this spy would do about the offender or me.

Chuckling at my own thoughts, I didn't realize that Alice was trying to make a conversation with me. Before my mind was spacing out, I found Alice alone in the courtyard and she was texting on her phone. Perhaps she was waiting for Natalia. When we spoke, she was clearly worried about my sudden disappearance.

With my mind clear, I finally turned my attention back to Alice as she smiled sheepishly. She pushed her blonde locks behind her ear before speaking up. Her emerald eyes stuck to my golden orbs. "I was so worried for the past week that I didn't think I would ever see you again." Her smile was slowly fading, but she tried to keep it up. "It was a bit lonely at the gym without you there."

"Don't you have Natalia? What about your other classmates?"

"Natalia is always outside and I'm inside playing volleyball. The players in the gym just play ball, and we don't talk too much." Alice let out a sigh. The both of us heard a soft beep coming from her pocket, but she ignored it as she looked up at me. "I prefer you, honestly."

A small smile forms onto my lips, but I averted eye contact as my face warmed up. Taking a moment to calm myself, I finally turned back to her. I swear, Alice is too sweet that I will die from it. "Thank you." I simply said.

With a moment of silence drawing down onto us, the blonde human pulled out her phone from her back pocket, and she took a moment to text back to this unknown person. My eyebrows rose as I waited. To my surprise, I saw a flash of a bright smile spread onto her face and her eyes lit up at the phone. Out of nowhere, I could feel something in my heart become angry by staring at her happy face. It was different, and I did not like it.

A low growl escaped my mouth as I turned away from Alice and took a seat onto the bench. My eyes were stuck onto her, but she did not return my gaze as I continued to wait. The heel of my feet tapped at the ground as time continued to past. She suddenly began to giggle as her own phone. Who the hell is she talking to?!

Before I could do anything else, I heard a whistle from afar and turned in that direction. Sonya was walking my way. She walked as if she owned the damn school, and I had to admit that it was alluring. Wait, what?
I shook my head slightly, but my eyes were still stuck onto Sonya. Her long hair flowed as the wind hit her gently. I never knew that they allowed such a short skirt in this school, but it looked damn good on her. Licking my lips, I turned my head from her gaze until she finally stepped in front of me.

"Hey there," She winked, making my face go red. Sonya's bright sky blue eyes were looking at me from head to toe with a sly grin. "Looks like your little girlfriend is a bit busy, hm?"

"She.. She's not my girlfriend, Sonya." I let out a sigh, crossed my arms as my eyebrows furrowed. "But she is busy."

"Maybe she's interested in someone and is enjoying them. How rude." She stuck her tongue out at Alice, but Alice didn't even pay attention as she was texting back to that unknown person. I never even thought that my heart would hurt when she was ignoring me. A simple human hurting me was something that I hated with a passion, but this felt different.
