"Viper. Why did you kill him?" Ryan crossed his arms as he kept his attention on a dead assistant on the floor. The poor man was torn to bits, and the Copy didn't even look sorry. Not even a little bit.

"He got in my way and tried to tell me what to do." She didn't turn her red eyes to us at all.

"What did I tell you about following orders from the organization? You are under our authority, Viper."

Viper shook her head. "Yeah, I know that, but I'm only going to be following your orders. Not some other people that didn't participate in my creation. Who knows? They could try to destroy me."

Ryan let out a sigh before turning to me. "Anya, do you mind? I need to take care of this mess that our success has made." I felt sick to my stomach when Viper and I made eye contact. Gulping hard, I nodded slowly.

"Of course, Ryan." He smiled softly before leaning down to pick up the torn up body. How could he just let this go? Shouldn't he discipline this monster?

"Ah, so we're finally alone again, Anya." I couldn't even look at her. "I haven't been able to spend time with you in so many months. Training got in the way." She was trying to fake a sad tone, isn't she?

"Your training is more important. Ryan gave you a schedule for everything that you do while you're under his authority. Other than that, you would stay in your cell to rest." My back continued to face her. That face was not Viper's, and it pains me to see it. They are so different. "In an hour, you would have to report to Ryan about your progress."

"Hm? What about you, Anya? You are the one who helped make me." Her hands were placed onto my shoulder, making me freeze up. "If anything, I owe you everything. I'll do anything that you ask. No objections." Even when I wasn't looking at her, I could feel her sinister smile behind me. She was so close.

"Then stay with Ryan for today. I need time by myself." I hissed. Viper's hands froze in place until she moved them closer to my throat.

"If that is what you want, Anya.. I'll accept that request." She leaned down to whisper in my ear. "But let's just say that I'll come back by tomorrow. I'll make sure that there will be no interruptions." Finally, her hands were off of my shoulder. Looking over my shoulder, she was already heading out the same door that Ryan left.

What a mistake that I have made.

Stress has been killing me lately, but I have that copy to blame, really. Ever since Ryan decided to let Viper wander around the organization, she has been doing anything she wanted. It even got to the point where she ended up killing someone.

Thankfully, I was able to start sleeping at my own house. Luckily for me, Oliver has kept Alice company while I'm working. He's been pretty closer to Alice ever since he has lived with her. At this point, I think he was planning to marry her. Those two have been so lovey-dovey even when I'm home. It's just so exhausting to see that.

"Anya, you're home!" Alice came running down the stairs with a large smile on her face.

"Alice, slow down! You're going to fall!" Oliver called out to her, catching up with the same pace.

I could only sigh at the two teenagers. Were they serious?

"Both of you stop running before you fall and I'm forced to get you to a hospital." I rolled my eyes as I go into the dining room. Putting my purse onto the table, I go through my things. From the corner of my eyes, I could see Alice and Oliver creeping up towards me. "Do you need to tell me something?"

"Actually, I do." Oliver perked up. He then turned his eyes to Alice. "In private." Alice stared up at him before turning her attention towards me with a confused look. All I did was nod, signalling Alice to go upstairs.
