Things got worse once Seth stood up to go to my table. I could only turn my head away as I tried to keep my calm around this guy. There were so many things that I wanted to lash out on him, but with all these people around, it was tough.

"Hey.. Looks like you're here." He took a seat across from me, his chin resting on the tips of his fingers. "I didn't think that someone as isolated as you would be to such a crowded area, Viper."

My eyes narrowed down to his level, without saying a word. "Aw, you're not going to say anything? That's such a shame because.. I'm here, aren't I? I thought you would be so much more enraged. That would have been fun to see."

"You know I'm going to do the same thing that I've done to you." I let out a quiet mutter, but he seemed to have heard it. "I won't hesitate again."

"Oh please, you're thinking about that? Last month, you couldn't do a thing. Not that you remember anyway." He laughed, leaning back against his chair. It was awfully weird how calm he acted, but I wouldn't expect much from an arrogate bastard like him.

My head turned away to look out the window, so I didn't have to look at his face. My eyes closing, memories of last month, the day after finding out about Ryan.

I was still in my room, beginning my search for wizards, mages, etc. Ever since I continuously began to get flashbacks from my past, my mind has been uneasy and stressed. In order to ease that pain, I might as well start my search once again. It has been so long since I've actually tried to find them, but there has not been any kind of evidence. I'm either getting paranoid, or just going crazy. I didn't want to think that I was any of those, but sadly there was a possibility.

My eyes were focused onto my laptop, my fingers rapidly typing as I continuously searched for paranormal activities and supernatural creatures. To my disappointment, there was nothing that could relate to my search that was actually real. All fake and pointless.

A soft sigh came out from my lips and my eyes came to a close to rest from the computer's light. I spent a week in my room, no food and no sleep. Of course I was tired out of my mind, but I'm sure I've had worse in the past. My mother continued to knock on my door and attempt to open it, but luckily I kept it locked tight and boarded up.

"Viper, you should take a break. This isn't good for you to stay up so long and have nothing to eat. It isn't good for your health and for our energy bill." She continued to knock, but I kept ignoring her. I couldn't stop until I found at least one thing. Even a word was something that I could have worked with.

My ears perked up once I heard our doorbell ring. My eyes opened and my head turned to the door. The knocking stopped and footsteps became distant from my door. "Who is that?" I asked myself, but I had an idea of who that was.

I began to remove the wooden boards on my door and unlocked it, removing each lock one by one. My head peeked out to see if she actually walked away and soon came out of my room. I slowly made my way down the stairs to see who came in. From my first glance, Ryan was there, but there was another standing next to him. I couldn't see who they were, but they were dressed in the same attire as Ryan.

My mother approached Ryan and his acquaintance with two cups of tea. "Ryan, please have a seat! You too.. Erm.." She tried to find the words.

I peeked out to see who this stranger was just a bit more, but their voice is what stopped me. "Anya Springs." The stranger introduced in a slight Russian accent.

'Springs?' I recognize that surname, but they look completely different. I decided to stay and eavesdrop on their conversation.

"Well Ms. Springs, it is a delight to be your acquaintance. I am-"
