He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. Psalm 91: 15

In my class these days, we have been memorizing Pslam 91. It may sound hard to you but once you repeat the verses over and over again, just the repetition helps! I did learn it and whenever something comes and I'm not happy about it, I think of a verse that will help me overcome my fears. You might be wondering... what does Underwater ?Well the picture above is a book. It is a story i encourage you to read...

-Morgan didn't mean to do anything wrong that day. Actually, she meant to do something right. But her kind act inadvertently played a role in a deadly tragedy. In order to move on, Morgan must learn to forgive—first someone who did something that might be unforgivable, and then, herself. But Morgan can't move on. She can't even move beyond the front door of the apartment she shares with her mother and little brother. Morgan feels like she's underwater, unable to surface. Unable to see her friends. Unable to go to school. When it seems Morgan can't hold her breath any longer, a new boy moves in next door. Evan reminds her of the salty ocean air and the rush she used to get from swimming. He might be just what she needs to help her reconnect with the world outside. Underwater is a powerful, hopeful debut novel about redemption, recovery, and finding the strength it takes to face your past and move on.-

CAUTION- LITTLE SPOILERS AHEAD

Okay so when I first started this book, it was a confusion... Why didn't Morgan leave her apartment? Why is she such a wimp? Well, sometimes tragedies leave us hanging on a broken thread. We don't know what to do so the safest thing to do is to hide or runaway from our dangers. Of course, this story isn't religious, but you can interpret it in a way. Morgan needs help to overcome her fear. She has a psychologist who comes twice a weak to talk to her and console her. She tries to get Morgan on a move on in life.

So Morgan has her fears... do you? Of course you do! All humans do! We are stuck with fears, dangers, and terrible things for the rest of our lives and we can't escape that! But here's the good news, we'll have someone who will help us get through this. So let go of your worries because there is someone who will be with you in trouble, he will deliver you and honor you. Jesus is here always. he isn't going anywhere. You are saved!

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for being my redeemer! You will get me through my Math tests, my swim race, my basketball game, my recital, my everything and anything! I know you are there. You are with me in the sky, on the ground, and even underwater.

Amen.
