Hey guys!
I haven't written in my devotional for months... so sorry! I've been really busy but I found out that I wasn't that busy. I needed to spend some time with the Lord, EVERYONE has time for that!
So great news.... I started baptismal classes! I'm so excited to give my life to the Lord! I started out with learning the books of the Old Testament. Now, I have to find at least once during the day to spend time with my God.
I gotta admit, it's hard, with school, family activities and social media. I always look at my life as really busy and I use many excuses to skip 10 minutes of reading a boring book. I am totally wrong.
I need to spend time with God EVERY day! It's a priority! Do you say, "Nah, I have soccer practice today so I don't have time to eat." I doubt it!
God wants your love and devotion every day! He wants to get to know you better and just hang out with you somewhere comfortable for you that you find special with God.
I need to work on my devotional time with my Savior. So do you.... everyone can improve in some way!
I'm glad that I have a God that has a GREAT patience with me so whenever I don't pay attention to him he waits for the next time, even if it takes forever! We are humans... I doubt you would wait for your brother at the bus station for over a day.... God is Holy and Just, he is willing to wait on you every day to have your heart and attention to Him.
I love God and I hope you do too... so let us join in his presence and give him the glory he deserves! Take time today to spend time with your Savior and love!
Dear Jesus,
Thank you for your grace, mercy, and love. I pray that you fill everyone's hearts with your deliverance and the willingness to take time to worship and praise your Holy name! Thank you so much for your patience and willingness to be there for us when we need you. You are my comfort and healer. Thank you God!
