Charlotte’s POV

Everything was good in this moment in time. I feel as if everything bad had just been terminated by some higher power, probably Tom Cruise. I’d willingly called Emilio and I was glad I did. Emilio is having a great time at college, but obviously wished I was with him. He’d let go the fact that I decided to take a gap year, I’d be attending next year. Emilio also promised he would visit soon and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited.

Louis and I were on fabulous terms, we were close friends. I hadn’t seen him so much in the past week or so, but he had promised I’d see him soon. Louis had been recording nonstop, but he’d face timed me with the boys. They were still the same goofball I’d last seen them as; Harry and Niall were still trying to get us together. Louis and I had agreed to keep hush and not tell anybody, we’d never hear the end of it.

Today was the annual checkup with Aunt Erin. I had been skipping most of them to hang with Louis, but she was more than pleased. Apparently he was my destined London love or something of that sort. She was coming to my flat this time and now I was cleaning up because there was a half an hour before she arrived and clothes were still strewn on the floor. However I was interrupted by a nice solo of Louis, which he proudly supplied me with.

“Hello?” I answered with a grunt as I shoved my dirty clothes into my closet. I should really look into finding a Laundromat.

“Hey Lottie,” Louis’s voice filled my ears and nothing else, making me happy.

“Hey Lou, I’m a bit busy right now. I’m getting ready; my aunt is coming over for one of those weekly checkups. Well they’re more like monthly checkups now. So can I call or back or do you have to tell me something so direly urgent you’ll die if you don’t tell me?” I said all of this while having the phone tightly clenched between my ear and shoulder as I tied my hair into a near braid.

“Um, I mean it’s not that important. I was just gonna ask if you wanted to go recording. You don’t have to because I know you have your aunt checkup or whatever. It’s just they’re permitting me to let you tag along since we’re not really recording. The next time I’ll be available will be really far away or at least according to what we’ve done so far.”

No words came to mind, just thoughts. I couldn’t just ditch Aunt Erin, but then again I probably wouldn’t see Louis for a while. I could see Aunt Erin when I wasn’t seeing Louis. “Let me call my Aunt.” I hung up in a beat and dialed my aunt, who luckily answered on the second ring.

“Hey Charlotte, I was just about to be on my way.”

“Sorry Aunt Erin, but would you mind if I cancel, today might the only day I can see Louis for a while.” I panted and prayed for a yes.

“Sure, as long as you promise I'll have cute nieces and nephews.”

“Aunt Erin,” I whined, stretching out her name
