Charlotte POV

“It’s not even my date and he still gets me out of my skirt!” All the boys let out a hearty hoot. They’d all awoken well, but I somehow convinced them to watch my favorite chick-flick. And from the looks of it, they weren’t regretting their choice. What surprised me was that Louis actually had the film and that he’s seen it more than once. However, he was still laughing his head off.

Louis was pressed up close to my arm with Zayn on the other side; they insisted we all sit on the same couch. All our stomachs were puffed out, filled with delicious, greasy fried food. Yet, there was a bowl of popcorn being passed throughout the six of us. Zayn passed the warm bowl to me, which I disgustedly passed on to Louis. “Too…full.” I overdramatically heaved, focusing my attention back to the movie.

I could still see Louis out of the corner of my eye; he was gazing at me, amused. My eyes wandered, peeking up at him, but he rapidly diverted his attention back to the movie. Instead of intently staring at him I looked over at Zayn, who was eagerly looking at his phone.

“Guys,” one of them paused the movie, “I gotta go. Perrie’s flight just came in; she’s only here for two nights.” He was already off the couch and easily replaced by Harry’s body.

“I’m guessing you need a lift.” Louis was rising to his feet, grabbing keys from the coffee table.

“That’d be great mate.” Zayn went to go find his shoes while Louis rested on the arm rest, his feet barely scraping the ground.

“Do you want me to take you home as well?” Louis grabbed my attention by falling back onto the open cushion, his head landing hard on my lap.

“Man, you sure do wanna get rid of me!” I batted his nose with my palm, giggling and gaining a nudge from Harry.

“I’ll take that as a no.” Louis lazily rolled off the couch and dropped onto the floor with a grunt.

“Can I catch a ride? Anna’s probably wondering where I am.” A quizzical expression arose on my face; I didn’t know Liam had a girlfriend.

“She’s a bloody dog!” Niall hooted, kicking Liam off the couch.

“Lou, you ready?” Zayn called, already opening the door.

“Hmm, yea!” Louis called back, pushing himself off the floor.

The film continued playing while we all took advantage of the extra space. However both Niall and Harry eyed me suspiciously, so I couldn’t focus. “What!” I shouted out, the constant star ing was unbearable.

“Somebody’s got a crush,” they both sang to a nursery rhyme’s melody, batting their eyelashes at me.

“Somebody’s got a boyfriend.” I retorted in the same tune, looking fiercely at the two of the boneheads.

            “Somebody’s lying,” Harry hummed along.

“I’m gonna strangle both of you and make it look like an accident.” My singsong voice faded into a hard statement.

“We’re teenage heartthrobs! We’re invincible!” My head tilted to the left, a harmful smirk growing on my face.

“1…2…3…” My body pounced after the two idiots, cornering them in the kitchen. “Wasn’t smart to hide where the knives are kept,” my index finger gently tapped against my chin.
