Louis POV
Being my foolish self I ordered the grandest and most elegant boat of sushi there ever was. Char being her tame yet silly self refused the luxurious lunch and ordered a small bowl of soup and orange chicken.
“Plain Jane,” an unnamed sushi roll was shoved into my mouth as I winked at her. “Mmmm,” I purred at the delectable taste of the cuisine.
“Oh shut up!” A hint of flame ignited in her eyes as she growled and stole a piece off my plate and plopping it in her mouth. “Good, but too good. Really Louis, it’s all too much. You said ‘simple’.” Her arms crossed over her chest and she slipped one more roll off the boat.
“Get used to it sugar, you’re living the Tomlinson lifestyle now.” Too full I pushed the barely touched boat away from me as Lotts took her last bites.
“Well that was delicious, what else do you have planned for me?” A cheery smile arose on her face as I raised my hand for the check, which was brought faster than a racehorse.
“Whatever you’d like, but I’m voting for a nice long nap.” Lotts let out a soft chuckle, covering her mouth with her hand.
“You’re a lazy planner aren’t you?” I helped her from her seat and led her back to my car.
“Not so much, I was really hoping on taking you to this ice cream parlor a little far off. It has a lot of meaning to me. Did I mention this was a Tomlinson tour?” She refused my help into the car and hurried me to start the car.
“I love ice cream!” She expressed as we sped down the streets. “Why is it important to you?” At a stoplight my eye drifted down to her twiddling fingers.
“Well, it’s important to all the boys. After Simon signs anyone he takes them out to this parlor for anything they’d like. We’ve never really told anyone, it’s practically a hidden secret.” As the light turned my eyes darted back to the road, but not so fast that I missed the smile on her face.
“Thanks,” her tone was sincere and I was glad I was showing her the parlor. A smile couldn’t help but grow.

With Lotts hooked on my arm we strutted through the door, surprising the customers. “Louis!” Alex, the owner, shouted with joy as he threw his arms around me. His hairline was receding and his face was heavy with wrinkles, but he was still the ball of energy I remembered him as. “I haven’t seen you since…” his eyes scanned the parlor before he continued, “the tradition.” I gave him a smiley nod and let Alex take notice of Charlotte. “Hello beautiful,” he took her hand and planted a gentle kiss on her hand, “what may your name be?”
“Charlotte, but everyone calls me Lotts.” She seemed a little tense, making me notice the eyes on us.
“Nice to meet you, any friend of Louis is a friend of mine. Choose anything, it’s on the house!” She looked back at me, obviously not pleased with the free food…again. Char was definitely not one that was spoiled easily. However, she gave in and overlooked the freshly made desserts in their casing.
“I can’t help myself, mint chocolate chip.” I swear there was a dot of droll on her lips as Alex handed her an overfilled cup before filling mine.
