You looked my way,
And I felt I couldn't breathe,
But I didn't know what plan you were to conceive.
Now you hold my heart,
In the palm of your hand,
But it was all planned.
You had me fall,
Fall too hard to leave,
You got me to believe.
You made me think I was special,
That I was your one and only,
Then you just left me lonely.
I thought you would stay,
But you were here to deceive.
You had a trick up your sleeve.
I fell for you,
But our love was only one sided,
I was simply misguided.
Then you simply said "It's over."
And I was left to grieve,
For you had gotten what you came to achieve.
Broken hearted,
Remnants of us,
Were but left in the dust.
Exploited and used,
How could I have been so naive?
As punishment, I'd let you aggrieve.
When you looked my way,
Now all over and done,
I know, I shouldve run.
