Jug in her hand,
She attemps suicide again.
Gulps down the bleach,
In an attempt to cleanse her sin.
Eyes shut tight
With tears leaking out,
Trying to forget
All the things she's ashamed about.
Arms and legs,
Battered and bruised,
All 'cause of her mom,
Drunk off booze.
She's been drowning,
In her own misery.
No one heard her cries,
Shouting "Save me!"
Now she wants to die,
All because of
Our inability
To show her any love.
So think twice
Before you hurt someone,
Because just might push them to where
They say in defeat "I'm done."
