"Don't you ever just ponder over the amazing idea of technology?" My friend, Kellin asked, "Like, isn't it fascinating how technology is so powerful today to the point where you can have a conversation with someone on the side of the world in a matter of seconds?" He kept rambling about whatever fascinating topic was on his mind today. I'll admit, Kellin's probably the biggest nerd I've ever met, but he's my best friend. Plus, he helps me with my homework, like real friends are supposed to do.

"Yeah Jack, isn't it fascinating how you can get a dick pic from someone in Australia in a matter of seconds?" Our other friend, Tony, mildly shouted, catching up with us. Though Kellin's a huge nerd, Tony on the other hand, is probably the biggest fuckboy in our school. Or at least in my opinion.

"I like Tony's description better." I hi-fived Tony while we erupted in laughter. Kellin hates when Tony or I make an inappropriate remark, so we do it often.

"Whatever. Just hurry up so we won't be late to biology class." Kellin reminded us. It was the last week of school, which meant teachers got even more strict and exams were at an all time high.

"Yeah, five more days of biology, aka the only class we'll probably have together." Tony said and shrugged. He was right. Throughout all of high school, this was the only class we took with each other. Me and Tony are used to being in three or four classes with each other, but since Kellin's the next Einstein, he's always in AP or Honors classes or something. So Tony and I were kind of shocked when he purposely ditched his science exams last year just so we could have a class together.

We walked into Mr. Merrick's classroom, which was overly packed and noisy, because well, biology exams were tomorrow. All we've been doing since last week was reviewing stuff, but now that exams start tomorrow, everyone's hyperventilating and having panic attacks all over the room.

"Class, calm down, everyone in your seats, the world's not ending. Damn." Mr. Merrick walks in with his usual bags and grande sized Starbucks coffee, even though we're the teenagers here.

"It is for us!" Some kid, Mike, shouted in the back of the classroom. Everyone started shouting and crying again, like a bunch of nine year olds.

"Mike, I'm pretty sure after this exam tomorrow, you'll still be alive. Now everyone get seated!" He warned the class again.

Mr. Merrick was very popular with the students at this school. He's very young, very attractive, and uses profanity like any of us would, and on top of all that, he's shredded as fuck so when he gives orders, people oblige.

Everyone piped down and eventually got seated, with Kellin, Tony, and I sitting in our designated seats in the back.

"Okay losers, since exams are tomorrow, I'm actually going to let you guys have a chill day. You guys can help each other study, grab the flash cards over there, listen to music, or just take a nap before the other teachers take you through hell. Just don't get too loud because I'm grading tests from another class. Everyone got me?"

Everyone nodded and went on with their business. Some went to sleep, some gossiped about whatever pointless drama was happening today, and others, like me, Tony, and Kellin, were picking on each other, like we always do.

"So Tony, when are you going to ask Mike out over there?" I joked, all of our heads turning to the front where Mike was. Tony had a crush on Mike back when we were in middle school. He claims he's over Mike now, but that's obviously not true. Even when Mike did become the idiotic stoner he is today, Tony still loves him.
